and why wouldn't Superman be worthy as a fake claim? you had no trouble believing that mafia would have Batman as a safe claim before, yet Superman is off limits for some reason? Ranmaru was the last person to claim. what would stop him from picking Superman?

Radical, most of my suspicion of Beat does come from the "flavor." pretty much every other character that we have seen in this game so far has matched up with their alignment very well. Dark Horse was a bit of a curveball, but even he wasn't really an outright middle finger to my ability--he was just capable of switching sides. unless there's some in-game condition that would cause BeatStick to take off his helmet and be Han Solo instead, i see no way for him to be a town player. as far as general play, he simply hasn't done anything noble or helpful enough to make me gloss over this observation. he has been passive and he has been easily swayed onto different lynch targets. it would be one thing if we had seen lots of characters with surprising alignments, but we haven't. Harley Quin was mafia. Batman (one of them anyway) was town. Wolverine was town. i don't see how Boba Fett could be town. i understand the importance of speculation, but i also believe that my ability must be useful. i have to believe that the identity of the player i target must at least give me an educated guess toward their alignment. with BeatStick, my educated guess is that he is not town.

We make sure that our investigative role stays alive. It would also confirm my ability to another player, and considering the unlikeliness of you two being scum buddies, it would practically confirm me as town.

If Circusscum:
We limit scums options by forcing his buddy to send in the NK.
Combined with other abilities, we'll also have a pretty good chance of blocking scum completely.
Also, if we can confirm that Circus is scum, we will know that Hep is scum too.

In the above post you ignore the fact that you could simply be a scum roleblocker with capture flavor. I believe you are actually a jailer, tell me why I do.

Beatstick, I need you to think. Why would it confirm Hep scum? You need to explain the why. You can't simply state **** like that at this stage.

If Hep is scum, then my lasso should reflect that. If that's the case, and she and BeatStick both target you, then I assume her night action will fail like it's supposed to since I'm sure she isn't scum with Beat, meaning Beat is telling the truth about his role. It probably also means that either Beat or I will die toNight.

If she's town and you're scum, then I should be able to confirm she's town, and her ability will probably either still fail because Beat is telling the truth, or she'll be killed in the Night because you and Beat are scumbuddies and you have to keep up the illusion that Beat's ability is real. Regardless, having Hep and Beat target the same person seems dumb. And if you're scum (and Beat is town), then you clearly aren't the scum that makes the NK (or the scum that makes the NK can change) since you keep directing Beat to jail you.

I don't think you asked this, but if both you and Hep are town and Beat is scum, and Hep is still expected to target you, then I assume you'll die toNight.

And I'm not scum. I'm not sure if I answered all of your questions to your liking, but I tried.

Regardless, if Beat's going to jail you, then Hep should just target someone else. Though, personally, I would prefer Beat to jail Zen since I know he's town and he doesn't have an active role to block, that we know of. I'd rather make sure he stays alive than try and potentially fail to role block scum's killing role.

Ranmaru, is BeatStick town in your opinion? What about Nabe? Also, explain why HepAlien is scum in your own words. Don't just keep poking other people and saying "remember all those reasons you had for lynching so-and-so before? You know, those reasons. We should totally lynch that person for those reasons." Sick of you (and others) riding wagons with no clear reasoning.

I have lots of trouble believing that RadFic's role is even real, where as Hep's role is proven.

It's not just that I think the town needs investigative roles. It's also the fact that we know that Hep has the ability she claims to have. That means that if she's scum, not only does town only have my role and maybe a one-shot from Kevin to investigate scum, but it also means that scum have an even better way of investigating us. That just seems too stacked in scum's favor to me. Plus, since Hep can actually do something, I would rather keep her alive and look into her in the Night if I have to, rather than lynch her and leave people like Ranmaru alive who are scummy and have no helpful ability.

That's the mechanics side of it. In addition to that, it doesn't make any sense for Hep to have cleared me toDay is she's scum. Not only were people still mildly interested in possibly lynching me before, but clearing me also clears whoever I get town reads on that much more. It limits scum's options for mislynch. I see no reason for scum to do that.
