Currently editing my video for Golden Sunday.
Pro tip to y'all kids out there making life decisions to become famous Youtubers: video editing sucks. Develop a personality and/or write your own content then pay someone to edit your shiz for you.
I had another thought related to leaks recently. This is likely just me grasping at straws to console myself while we're not in the spotlight, though. With the fighters pass being all third-party characters so far and the latest news saying a bajillion Touhou songs could come to Smash, I'm reminded of the principle that the chance of a secret leaking is proportional to the square of the number of people who know about it.
That is to say, afaik, no one directly working on Smash Bros in Nintendo/Bandai Japan has ever leaked anything. When you need to translate and localize stuff, then many more people are brought in and they can talk in a Discord DM or mess up and post Monster Dance or the SNK trademark a day early. But when you need to engage a third-party for permissions, monetary deals, art assets, music, ect, it becomes exponentially easier for information to get out. I couldn't even imagine trying to keep something hidden like the music of Touhou, a largely fan-created series with a ton of hands in the cookie jar.
Anyway, Golden Sun would be at the other end of the spectrum. Sakurai would need to clear any content by... no one, though he always engages the original creators. But that's just one meeting and a few emails with the Takahashi Bros, a commission to Sakuraba for some new tracks, and no one else is the wiser.
The point is, even if it is indeed in the works, there won't be any real leaks featuring Golden Sun or other internal characters until NOA or NOE get their hands on something, likely very shortly before it is announced to the world. Just something to think about as we wade through third-party swamp.
