Sunrise, Sunset - Isaac for Smash Ultimate #GoldenSunday

The Golden Sun artist who passed away earlier this year is Hiroshi Kajiyama, responsible for many of the monster designs for the series. The character designer is Shin Yamanouchi.

It's still a very heartfelt loss for the series. Let's try to keep from spreading misinformation.

Interesting thing about it, I've been just sorta watching the results go by as time passes. It's pretty much been a 30 vote gap for the last few hours from what I can tell. Each time one gets some votes, so does the other.

Just had a random thought, IF Isaac does not make the cut for a playable character (though I really hope he does). What if he was in the game not as an assist...but as a boss?!?!?!? I mean think of how bad*** of a boss he could be! Shifting the entire stage like the Pokemon levels but using it against you, filling the floor with Thorns and Mad Growth. Falling Spires and Avalanche raining death from above. Making platforms for himself to make it hard to reach him. I mean to make him fair as a playable character they would have to water down what he can do. But as a boss they could show you what he is capable of.

Just a fun idea I had. Would like that option much better than an assist but not as much as playing him myself.

It doesn't help the fact that people who don't know Isaac or what he can do in terms of Earth/Utility Psynergy and whatnot, they will think, "Another swordsman? I'd rather take a spear user. We need one of those!"

When it comes to who should get in, I'm not worried about BWD since he's part of an existing IP in Smash. So he will be put in one way or another. Isaac, however, doesn't have that benefit unfortunately. But that won't stop us from spreading the word of the Golden Sun!

Fun idea, but the only way I would ever except Isaac as a boss was if they reveal that he was the one controlling Master Hand and Crazy Hand the whole time.

In my opinion, in an optimal (to me) scenario where Isaac wins this, and the battle against Banjo, he'd end up possibly going up against Skull Kid and maybe Geno in the semifinals. I think that'd be one of the best match ups, and would cause quite the uproar.

Also I think it's too soon for any one theory to be correct or wrong jussssttt yet. I think it'll be what happens in the next set of reveals that will be our determining variables. After that. The rest will probably fall into place I'd say. Most likely. Maybe?

Have any of you all seen the "leak" of the Smash direct that's supposedly supposed to happen on october 8th? I don't believe the leaker has any past credibility, i believe this is their second time leaking. They stated Nintendo took down his last post about the September direct, but i'm not certain if that's true. I usually wouldnt bring up something like this since it's little more than a rumor, seeing as it could easily be false, but they did say it starts with a leak, being Isaac. So, just wanted to put it out there so you guys can come to your own conclusions.
