Sunrise, Sunset - Isaac for Smash Ultimate #GoldenSunday

I'm so anxious for this direct, it's not even funny. I'm trying not to flat out "expect" Isaac, because I know I'd set myself up for disappointment. Yet, with how much momentum he's gained from so many people talking about GS and believing in his chances, plus how the blog posts added fuel to the fire of his likelihood for sooner rather than later, it would feel wrong to not see him today.

As long as he isn't disconfirmed, it's a win, but I know a lot of us are starting to feel that anticipation.

Essentially what it boils down for me is. I'm extremely hopeful for Isaac to get announced, but at the same time; I know better than to put all my eggs in one basket, so I am tempering myself to keep the possible disappointment at a low. Still let us band together and hope that our golden boy gets in.

I think Isaac may see the sun shine on him-- just not today. My dream list is Geno/Skull Kid/Isaac/Banjo, and of all those 4 I think the Skull Kid is probably the reveal today (or random Pokemon).

So less than three hours to go and I'm already out of things to occupy my time with, so now I'm terrified as per usual. There's just so much going on in Isaac's favour and a few months ago it felt like Isaac was still a pipe-dream. He's the reason I made my first Smash video back in July, so I'd love for Isaac to get in so I can come full circle

I remember when I thought Isaac had no shot whatsoever. Despite how much I wanted him in Smash, I knew how unlikely it was. There just wasn’t enough demand. But... here we are...

Personally I'd like to see Saturos and Menardi appear as bosses, who then fuse into Fusion Dragon for their final stage.

I want to see a 3D model for Menardi, she's a cool character.

I’m pretty confident that, even if Isaac isn’t in the base roster (provided we keep supporting him) he’ll be DLC. I won’t stop supporting him. And from what I’ve read in the past 200+ pages since I’ve joined this thread, most of us will keep supporting him.

Only time will tell. And I have a feeling... I have a feeling the Sun will rise soon. Very soon.

Saturos's theme is a definite. Elemental Stars would be great for a remix, Isaac and Felix's battle themes, Marching Forwards with Determination as well, Venus Lighthouse, Crossing the Karagol Sea, there's a lot of tracks I'd want. Can we just have the entire OST?

Isaac Battle Theme, Saturos’ Battle Theme, Venus Lighthouse, Walking Forward With Determination, Set Sail! Through the Karagol Sea, Doom Dragon and Fusion Dragon, a proper version of Felix’s Battle Theme.

The only reason people think it's Incenroar is because of Verge. Verge isn't really credible so I see no real reason it would be a Pokemon today if we even get one.

I also don't get the translation for names sometimes.
It seems that in the english version most names have a relation with alchemy or alchemists (Isaac Newton etc).
But in french it's just Russian names it seems, maybe because if you overlap the real world map and Weyard, Val's area is more or less Russia. So we get:
Vlad (vladimir) for Isaac, Garet doesn't change, Ivan neither, Sophia for Mia, Lina for Jenna, Pavel for Felix and the only one I cannot find where it' from is Cylia for Sheba (which ironically comes for a word meaning "blind")
...ah I think I got it.
Vlad means "to rule"
Garret means "spiky" or "tough/brave"
Ivan comes from "god is merciful" in hebraic langage
Sophia comes from the same root as "wisdom" in Latin
Lina i'm not sure, comes from linen but i'm not sure what it could hint at ? Some things i found point Lina to "loving/caring/tender". So may hint at her love for Isaac/Vlad.
Pavel would mean "small" or "weak" ? Ok now my lead is becoming loose.

At first I thought it was hint/pun about their characteristics, like Vlad having "Lord" as his highest level class in the original game, but now i'm not so sure xD
Unless they named Pavel this way because he was weak and "died" early.

Isn't Lina the diminutive of "Angelina" ? Cause the meaning is pretty simple if it is : Angel.
I never noticed that the english names have links with alchemy (Newton talked about alchemy ?). It work with Sophia then, since the most iconic artifact of alchemy is the philosopher's stone (aka the stone of wisdom). I'm pretty sure it comes from ancient greek, not Latin though (philosophe = the one of loves wisdom in greek).

Nice find on Pavel and Vlad, it may be a reference at the location indeed. (I always noticed how Weyard's geography looks like ours)
