For all we know, Nintendo didn't plan to release information in advance in Famitsu at all. We're just speculating here. Its totally possible Famitsu will get the same information at the same time as everyone else, and they'll report on it only after the Direct actually airs.

Someone on reddit created a poll and our boi Isaac made 5th.

I never beat Banjo as a kid.

I was too scared of it after a certain part, same for Rayman 64. It doesn't help that my first N64, a certain game... you can probably guess which one, was my first 3d platformer and it turned me off from them for a while. The only platformer I beat as a kid on N64 was SM64.

That being said, the multiplayer was fun. The game where you shoot eggs at each other. That being said was Banjo Kazooie a good game? I don't remember because I was a scardy cat.

Rare games loved to use dark colors, I forgot what scared me. Like I love Geno as a character, but I don't really love SMRPG in comparison to the other Mario RPGs. That's why I ask the same question for Banjo.

edit: man, on that poll Ken landed high. Why vote for such an obvious shoe in? :B

In worse news....WatchMojo puts us at #9.
Nothing bad about the spot, I just hate WatchMojo.

That first guys reminds me a lot of this, and bear in mind, newLEGACyinc Johnny does these videos as a satire of "leaks".

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy talking about "leaks" because it's a time killer, but once you hear parodies, you just find those in anyone's presentation.

It's not like Famitsu is a website like GoNintendo or GamExplain.

They even have a caption on the front of this week's issue about the direct, so obviously they would know something.

It's not like these magazines are prepared and printed overnight, guys.

I really love Banjo Kazooie, in fact he is up there with Isaac for the character I want in Smash. (Microsoft/Nintendo will never let it happen though). Give Banjo Kazooie another try if you get the chance. That reminds me Majora's Mask on N64 scared me as a kid but, later I picked it up and really enjoyed it. Ah memories.

I would be perfectly be okay with this if this leak was real. Isaac and Ninten are my two most wanted characters for this game.
If they both got in, I'll be SUPER ecstatic. I wanted them both in the game for so long since brawl.

I would love this, if they got rid of the stupid fatigue gimmick they had in super pokemon mystery dungeon. Drove me nuts since I love playing as Ralts and just wanted to do that once I hit the postgame.
"Oh sorry, can't play as Ralts for a few days in game, cause the game says so"
I get that the mons probably have lives outside of dungeon exploring but it's still a really annoying concept to have been included.

I also explained this to my friend (you know, the one who doesn't buy Isaac in the game) that Famitsu saw the presentation before the 6th since they would be recapping it for everybody due to the fact they have a long history of journalistic integrity in the country, and this was before the earthquake happened. Why would they announce new information on something if they would also have to wait on the Direct to appear worldwide, especially given that around that time, they were finishing up production of the latest magazine for sale?

I don't think Dustin is the end all be all when it comes to Smash speculation.
