Lol its hard to talk smash without his name popping up. Best ignore him honestly. I try to but if he says things we will hear down the grapevine.
No honestly, it all came down to easy predictions... which is easy to say in retrospect, sure. But hear me out...
"Everyone is here" is a reasonable expectation, because I bet with all the votes on the ballot combined, Snake probably came out on top. No joke, he pretty much became the 'new Mewtwo' ever since his cut, he had a LOT of fans but they just where not as vocal as say, Wolf supporters. And Wolf was also highly requested!
Now with Snake being back, it's not all too farfetched to expect more from Konami, who might just see it as the perfect timing to get themselves more of the delicious pie that is $ma$h $ale$. Who is the most requested Nintendo-Komani character since ever? Right, Simon Belmont. Yet, Richter also seemed reasonably important to the franchise overall. This is from second-handed information cause really, I know next to **** about Castlevania (only played a little on the DS, great game tho, it had a hand gun weapon I enjoyed using) ; but in hindsight, it's easy to picture Richter making it. Especially since he's more of a Playstation-based character, Japan's favorite Belmont apperantly, and a more modern face of the Castlevania franchise.
Outside of this, he basically got NOTHING right except the way he's looking at things. He just predicts what's popular, and what was mostly popular was the veterans being back (#1 ballot votes probably), Ridley (#2) and King K.Rool (#3). He's a genious in this regard, but a foul manipulator nonetheless.
Now let me jump off this lighthouse yeah?
