Honestly, we've still got to see about 20 ATs. I'm assuming there will still be some new ones. I feel like a character as popular as Isaac would have gotten disconfirmed already, and Gray Fox from Brawl came back already so we know ATs can skip a game. Something is very fishy. I feel like at this point, Isaac's either out completely again, or playable. We'll just have to wait and see.

As for ATs that are still gonna return, I'm thinking Saki, the Kid Icarus ATs, and Dillon are back for sure.

Haha, yeah... I mean that in the best way possible, idk how to say this, but... I think it would be great to see those two in the game at all. I really hope that happens, since I don't think they'll make it otherwise.

Unfortunately I haven't seen him in any of the polls online (at least on the top), plus I think his game is pretty underrated/obscure at this point, as well, so he's probably going to just be an assist trophy again.

I kind of hate telling fans of characters "x will never happen" but for Shantae I don't even need to say it. Even Shantae fans know deep in their heart it's never gonna happen despite what they tell themselves, others, and the whole wide world. They're ultimately just a very small and only sort of loud group of fans, and they are very easy to miss.

Shantae fans will be lucky if Shantae is a trophy. Shovel Knight is considerably more well known and in a lot of crossovers, a bigger character, from a more profitable series, and Shovel Knight made it as an Assist Trophy.

(wish it wasn't true of Crono because that would be sick as hell to have Crono in Smash, but that ain't happening, even if it's 100 billion times more realistic than freaking Shantae of all characters lol)

The 2 greatest thing about the Angry Video Game Nerd is how right he was about stuff, explains his actual opinions without telling anyone their opinion is wrong (just sort of "this is my view, and that's all I got") and how he parodied "angry YouTube gamers" before that was even a thing.

With the latter great achievement, it's like the Nerd could see, 5, 10, 15 years in to the future. James Rolfe is a genius of character making.

Hey, so I've been on Smashfaqs where a lot of the drama has been going down and checked into here to see what's been happening. I see you guys had the anti-Isaac "I'm not Smashburb!" guy on here as well.

Just wanted to stop by and say that, judging from the ~15 minutes of video that Burb posted, either the Discord Skullkid is not Loz and has been spending hours and hours and hours meticulously paying games and speculating on stuff in order to build a facade, as well as putting out reasonable insights for a Nintendo employee, or is Loz trying to have fun on a semi-private server. I see Nazyrus (I think that's how you ping on here?) went out of his way to say it was a fake leak, but considering we had the admin of the server stop by to chat and had Burb post screenshots where they requested him to take down the videos...you guys decide.

I'm going out of my way here to stick up for Burb considering he's been dealt a pretty **** hand here (including a mod on the discord using a racial slur at him), and I don't like to see people try and lie to salvage the situation in their favor. I've been compiling information on the blowup and am more than happy to link it here as proof

If anything is messed up, call me out so I can fix it. Putting this all together on mobile was a mess and it's likely something went wrong.

I wouldn't mind if this game ended with Isaac, Geno, Skull Kid, Dante, and whatever echo fighters. Hell, Isaac and Geno alone would suffice. I'm not really starving for more characters because I've already got a ton to look forward to. But if I really wanted someone, I'd honestly want 2B more than any character out there. Nier is probably the only game in years that has left so big of an impression on me that I've been dying to see more of its characters.

Okay, I was watching ArtsyOmni's 8/8 Direct Reaction, and I noticed something interesting in the Classic Mode section.
Roy's Classic Mode is called "A Journey of Swords", round 6 is a battle between Roy and a team of Marth and two Corrins.

If Roy's Classic Mode is just a sequence of him fighting teams of other Sword Fighters, might it be possible Isaac is among them?

Man, the people on resetera sure seem certain the massive support for Isaac is just a few vocal minorities and his high presence in polls is not indicative of the ballot. Kinda soured my mood. I heard so much of that bull when supporting Ridley and K.Rool, I hate it when people try to downplay a character's genuine popularity.

I remember when people on NeoGAF used the same argument against K. Rool and we all know how that went down. Whilst there is no guarantee that Isaac did well on the ballot, thinking he has no chance to do incredibly well is stupid.

I remember when people on NeoGAF used the same argument against K. Rool and we all know how that went down. Whilst there is no guarantee that Isaac did well on the ballot, thinking he has no chance to do incredibly well is stupid.

Honestly, we've still got to see about 20 ATs. I'm assuming there will still be some new ones. I feel like a character as popular as Isaac would have gotten disconfirmed already, and Gray Fox from Brawl came back already so we know ATs can skip a game. Something is very fishy. I feel like at this point, Isaac's either out completely again, or playable. We'll just have to wait and see.

As for ATs that are still gonna return, I'm thinking Saki, the Kid Icarus ATs, and Dillon are back for sure.

Actually I think Gray Fox is back moreso because of Snake himself, which is why he's been the only Brawl assist that's missed a game to be back right now.

So we have yet to have a Brawl assist that's skipped to be confirmed back. Like Barbara, Excitebike, Helirin, Jill, Mr. Resetti (who's likely not to come back with the new animal crossing assist), Ray, and of course Isaac. Of these Barbara, Ray, and Isaac had to be unlocked which I'm not sure whether that will still be a thing again or not but it might further lead to Isaac (not being shown) unless we get the other two.

Either way I see Sakurai sooner porting the Brawl debut assists that made it to 4 like Saki, Lyn, and Walugi (latter two of which he has already done) than digging through the old Brawl assists who didn't make an appearance in 4 to make a quota. Isaac will only show up as an assist if Sakurai truly thinks he isn't enough to be playable, since no way he'll skip another game (of course him not being an assist will help DLC later though).

Even if he isn't in the DLC, I have a strong feeling after Isaac being a frontrunner for Ultimate's lifespan he will gather a large support base due to Ridley and K Rool fans wanting to support the Smash fanbase. And with Isaac being unconfirmed the support numbers will only grow.

If it isn't Smash Ultimate it will be Smash 6

Predictions for Golden Sun content in Super Smash Bros Ultimate if Isaac is added:

Newcomer: Isaac

Echo Fighter: Felix

Assist Trophy: Alex

Stage: Weyard, it would be Isaac's cabin in Dark Dawn on top the Dehkan Plateau with the Golden Sun shining brightly over Mt Aleph in the backround, Matthew, Karis and Tyrell make a stage cameo near the cabin.

Stage Boss: Fusion Dragon! Matthew, Karis and Tyrell go into the cabin when the boss approaches.. Saturos and Menardi appear and transform into the Fusion Dragon!

Final Smash: Summon Iris! Think Pit's Brawl final smash with Palutena except its Iris appearing in the backround combined with PK Starstorm, and similar to the Earthbound final smashes the cast joins together to summon Iris! Isaac joins with Garet, Ivan and Mia to summon Iris.. And Felix joins with Jenna, Sheba and Piers to summon Iris.

Notable costume swaps: Isaac has costumes based off Garet, Ivan, Mia, Saturos and Menardi. Felix has costume swaps based off Jenna, Sheba, Piers, Agatio and Karst.

All characters are collectible trophies!
