Megaman guaranteed top 3 at the biggest most stacked Smash 4 tournament ever by far.

Unfortunately I don't see him beating Ally. Kame already lost to Zenyou at a pre-Evo tournament.

No lie, had that post in my back pocket and going to bust it out if he won.

I think :4fox: is better than :4cloud2: and that the latter isn't top 5. People make too many excuses for Cloud when he clearly struggles in at least one very important matchup. Fox OTOH can do anything.
And doesn't Fox struggle against Sheik? Who is definitely an important character.

So did Ally :troll:

But yeah, I know you're talking about matchups. Thing is, there's enough variation in playstyle at the top level that this kind of reasoning doesn't work.

Cloud has it much worse, whereas Fox can win (see: Larry vs. Vinnie).

We could still have a cloud in top 8 if ZeRo gets desperate enough.

EDIT: Is the exact opposite of what I predicted going to happen?

I wish ZeRo would stop letting Larry recover for free and predictably like that. Really makes me cringe.

I am happy for ZeRo. Even though people root against him, I hate that he loses because he's not in top form. If he doesn't get 1st today, it'll be because his opponents were just flat-out better than him. This is the crucible.

ZeRo 2-0 Hyuga, 2-0 Komorikiri, 2-0 KEN, 2-0 Larry Lurr, his next fight is Abadango, whom he convincingly destroyed the last time they met.

Das Koopa, repeat after me, very clearly:

"Trump is definitely going to win in November. There's no way he can lose."

I'm so mad at Ranai those last 10 seconds. All he had to do was run away go off stage do one more rocket under the stage or something, and he would have that....

I mean you KNOW Dabuz's only option at that point is to Smash attack, nothing else would kill. Guess he just choked under the pressure.

Edit:

Yes Ranai still won. That would been so heartbreaking if he had lost after that.

Exceptional performance from both players, and especially from Ranai. If there was ever an instance of making lemonade from lemons.

Dabuz did not play game 1 well imo. He played to defensively which allowed Ranai to gain the upper hand, but great stuff from Ranai. How did he even hit Dabuz when he was under the stage that last game lol

Abadango struggles versus Diddy and has never come close to winning against Zero.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had a counterpick character ready.
