Nairo and Ranai are not in the same pool. That pool has falln, HIKARU, Sinji, and NCJacobT in addition to Nairo. Winner of that pool plays Ranai in top 32 (assuming Ranai wins his pool).

In my opinion he was pretty mediocre. He used way too many smash attacks and tried getting a forward smash in a last stock, last game situation.
