The SM dubs are hilarious because they're so badddd.

Yea I can't believe I was semi-arguing with someone on facebook once about how he thought dubs were generally better than the Japanese originals in anime. I sat there like, lol TROLLIN'?

Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. As well Hajime no Ippo is really good.
Hmm I'll add it to my anime list =D

DBZ has better Enlgish dubs IMHO. Also Cowboy Bebop has ever so slightly better dubs as well. Other than that, I can't think of any really. I have yet to watch some of my favorites without dubs, cause their English dubs were not horrible and ok enough.

Yea and I hated Goku's voice in Japanese (it was done by a girl VA )

But for Cowboy Bebop? I disagree that it's better but I really enjoy the english dub generally and wouldn't mind watching either or.

Anytime friend. And his voice acting is good, neigh amazing! However I felt it put to shame when I heard John DiMaggio do the Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood. He even gave Mark Hamill a run for his money.
Never saw that, I should look it up. Mark Hamill is another amazing voice actor.

I thought that Deathnote wasn't that bad, however I still preferred the subs over the dubs.

And anyone who's a batman fan (or comic fan) that is a must see. It doesn't avoid violence or graphic murdering. I mean it starts off with the second robin being beaten to death by a crowbar for crying out loud :p

I have the same problem with facebook and the boards.

In truth it's because our generation has been raised with ADD because of all the technology and time killing opportunities available to us. It used to be that they had nothing better to do than study or read a book (which is the same thing in the end). Now we have the internet, God's gift to procrastinators.

If that wasn't bad enough we also have video games, faster means of getting from A to B (which means friends houses to do anything but study), and electronics that are bound to make time fly as you approach the innevitable due date of your exam/project/HW/etc.

My advice: take a wrestling stand point (also known as a Rock Lee stand point for any Naruto buffs out there).

Tell yourself that you are going to get X amount done or else you will have to do something else. What Rock Lee does is he tells himself that if he doesn't do 1000 jumping jacks he'll have to do 2000 push ups and so on. In wrestling we had a certain time frame to do so many things that if we didn't, not only would we have to start over but they would add more to the workload.

So heres what you do: set aside some time to study. Let's say 4 hours. In this 4 hours you get one or two ten minute breaks to do whatever. Be sure you don't get hooked and stay on the boards, be strict on yourself. Let that inner drill sergeant starrt yelling at you. Tell yourself if it's homework that you will have so many pages written or so many problems done within the reasonable time.

And then reward yourself if you do it (like a dog gets treats for sitting). If you finish earlier then the alotted time, (lets say 15 minute to spare) use that time to do whatever before you move onto the next.

And every time you get on facebook or the boards or any web comic/youtube/internet distraction, find a means of punishing yourself. Close it and do 20 quick push ups. Not bad at first, but eventually you'll hate yourself for getting on it.

tl;dr:

stop being a lazy *********** and ***** do your **** ****** *** ** **** work and stop **** **************** *** * ***** and then go * ******* *********** ** ****.

Hope it helps :p

"You have to get the tedious stuff out the way before true fun begins"

Do homework first. I jump straight out of bed and get whatever needs to be done out the way.
