D-air to rest is way too hard, just do d-air to up tilt or up throw, much more reliable. Most of the time when I try D-air to rest people end up somehow shielding the rest.

If I am ever in dire need of a kill i'll edgehog until they come near and when they are at the perfect distance, you roll from edgehog ->rest
or if they're closer, just tap control stick to get up -> rest

You can't do it too much though or it becomes obvious.

mix all the above said suggestions up!

Smash DI on the opposite direction which the fox looks (excuse my english)

So if Fox looks to the right you SDI to the left.

oh and btw mango:

When do you switch to another character (which matchups) ?
I go Fox for most of the High/Top/Mid Tier Matchups and Sheik for most of the Lowtiers so i only play Fox/Falco/Peach and sometimes Sheik with Jigglypuff ...

so how come jungle japes isn't on the fox counterstage list? It's got a really high ceiling and the current can help you if fox tries to up+b too low. I guess maybe perhaps it could be easier for him to camp at the sides?

IIRC, One of the mango combos involves the n-air.

But he doesn't avoid using it. I've seen him use it quite a bit before.

i'm a bit skeptical about the rollout move vs ice climbers. Can't they just do any attack to cancel out the rollout? Or are you recommending it to be used when they are trying to recover?

ICS could always Ice block, or desynch blizzard, but many times they will try to shield if you catch them off guard. Nobody expects a Jigglypuff to rollout, so in the short chargeup time they may not have time to think of something to do and end up shielding. And if they shield it means you hit one of them.
