His steel WOULD be able to withstand fire breath, for a limited amout of time, but while during that time the fire breather would be aura beamed in the face. Mewtwo is too old to telenetically toss Lucario to the sun. Perhaps Canada.

Oh and, RIDLEY HAS PLASMA BREATH NOT PHIRE!!!!

'sides, only reason I started to get involved in this whole comics thing (as well as why I returned here to SWF after Ridley's and Mewtwo's deconfirmation) was because Reyairia wanted me to be a part of this and said it would make her happier or something, so I agreed to (plus, I thought it would be interesting).

Don't make me laugh. Mewtwo's movepool is far greater than Lucario's. He can learn moves like Flamethrower, Fire Blast, etc. that would annihilate that Anubis dog thing in a second.

Oh, and did I mention that Mewtwo learns Aura Sphere himself in Diamond/Pearl? (at level 100) That makes Lucario and his signature move worthless when Mewtwo can learn it himself. Mewtwo's Special Attack status is far greater than Lucario's anyway, making Aura Sphere more powerful on Mewtwo.

I didn't hax it, well the Lucario or the Charizard at least. The Darkrai I gots hax'd for me. I only use him if i want to own people uing only one pokemon. >_<

Lucario is not the reason Mewtwo is out. They arent clones. PT takes the same amount of responsibility fro Mewtwo not being included in Brawl as Lucario is.

The only reason I hate legendaries is because EVERYONE uses them. I like originality.
Mewtwo falls under the legendary characteristic. I just don't like legendaries. (Except for Darkrai, since barely anyone has him.)

The bottom line is, any Pokemon can beat any other Pokemon, there being only some suggestions. A Charizard could be a same level Blastoise. A Beedrill can beat a same level Pidgeot. It all depends on strategy. Types shouldn't hold anyone back, completely.

Pointlessly? Sakurai replaced one of the most respectable 1st generation Pokemon with some random 4th generation Pokemon. Mewtwo fans have every right to have disdain for Lucario because of taking Mewtwo's spot on the roster, and even having similarities to Mewtwo in SSBM (like Lucario's B-button attack).
