Holy crap this new music is just as amazing as I'd hoped. Honda's, Dhalsim's, Dee Jay's, Dudley's... friggin all of them! And I'm not even done listening to them all!

Edit: And they finally gave Fei Long his real theme instead of making him share with Rufus.

Best looking fireball pose too.

All the new fireball ultra's are probably going to be the dominate choice. I bet all the non-ryu mainers are going, HELL YES! ALL RYU PLAYERS ARE GOING TO GET A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE, FINALLY! except for Sagat, his ultra 1 was stupid easy to combo into.

Also Etwist, i suggest you stop ending your jab strings with a headbutt if I'm blocking, and suggest throwing some tick throws into the mix.

Maybe so, but real progress won't be made to the metagame until everyone gets it as opposed to just those with connections.

catching onto what? You think I was mashing something while you were jabbing? I don't mash during block strings fyi. something i don't want to get into. My friend keeps doing that to me and it hella pisses me off because that's how he wins his matches, with mashed out srk's, supers and ultras.

everytime you went into jab jab jabs, and if i block, you will either end it with a cr short xx headbutt, or you jump in. Headbutt = grab... jump = tortilla. i need to practice throw techs, boy :).

actualy here's a tip you might like,if you dont want to tick throw you can throw out an overhead in midst of a blockstring so I wont be chillin' while i'm blocking, and continue with your jabs if it connects and stuff.

you guys got it lucky, $36.90 for ssfiv , preordered on Buy.com... seems the lowest i can get it for is 39.99, but i need to deposit 10$ for some reason.

Its the same with Seth's Ultra II. Any combo that ended with kicks, replace those kicks with Ultra II. Abel's is amazing as well, as was his first one.

Guile is considered the 2nd most improved currently, next to Dhalisim. Honestly, no one has got the short end of the stick it appears so far. Almost every character board seems incredibly happy with the changes they recieved, or how their charecter turned out. No one knows what to make of Juri or Hakan yet, fully anyway, especially Hakan, but other than that, the game so far appears incredibly balanced.

and yes, even Gen.

Personally, I think Bison is the most improved. Ultra II is so ****ing beast, and don't get me started on his other changes.

Too bad Ultra II has a charge input also. I know that Capcom wanted to keep the old input, but it's just holding him back. I also can't remember his U2 that well that I didn't know that the opponent falls out of it. If anything, it should suck them in.

When you combo into it they fall out.

SFIV Guile doesn't even feel, look, or sound like Guile imo. He feels like a all around lame version of his other alterations.

Guile has a command taunt now to where he puts his glasses on, basically, people are talking about a safe setup into it being FADC into glasses.

What would've been cool and funny was if they did this. If Guile's Sunglasses taunt worked like Sagat's Angry Scar. But instead of just boosting a flash kick damage, it would give him SF II's CPU's walk up flash kick. :laugh:

The individual power is up, but his overall combo output is down, even with him being able to work Angry Scar within combos.

Was it ever confirmed or denied that he could use it to dodge moves?

The invincibility of Angry Scar is mysterious indeed. I'm sure we'll know about the properties of it soon.

hakan's U2.... man you can even freaking jump in and not attack and still eat it

yea i was playing SSFIV for 3 hours at a store today... pretty fun and well improved from vanilla minus the nerf damage from ultra's in general. was mostly messing with Juri, Guy, and Dudley.

T-Hawk and DeeJay are pretty beastly for sure

Did anyone see the stream of the Fight Club tonight?

The final best of 5 match between Daigo and Justin was the most intense **** I've seen of this game thus far. And the ending was positively hilarious.

Daigo was doing very well with Guile too. idk if Guile really isn't as bad as everyone says or if it's just because it's ****ing Daigo.

I didn't watch the stream. I try to watch the streams, but I'm getting sick of seeing Cody in just about every stream. Ten bucks he'll be the new Ken. One stream from earlier though had a beastly Rose. Would it kill people to play someone like Viper, Fuerte, Sakura, Chun, Blanka, Zangief etc. You know, someone that's not a newcomer or a shoto.
