Elena would have been great in SF IV. She can turtle in 3S (especially with Healing as her Super Art) and all of her moves could have been great in a game without parrying (she still has good moves, but without parrying they'd be great.)
Ah well, next update. It's kind of a **** move that they decided to intentionally not consider SF III characters for the first version of SF IV.

"Strategic planning" i pulled that from the article you linked. By not putting Elena in SSFIV, you are now compelled to buy SSFIVT a year later where she will likely be announced to be included in the roster.

Rufus is the worst thing to ever happen to SF4. I say get rid of him and bring in Yun and Yang!

It was the opposite for me. Yang was cool, but I really didn't like Yun. I think it was his voice - every time he said "Kakkate Koi" in that smug tone I wanted to punch him in the face. And then I did. Good times.

Dudley got ultra setups for days! He couldn't connect his full ultra though... but honestly that would have been ridiculous.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking of Makoto. If I remember correctly... I thought you could connect ultra after a command grab. Regardless, I doubt that will happen unless Makoto gets stretchy limbs and yoga fire.
Edit: MLG wants SF4...word.
Yeah, I was just thinking MLG needs a 2D fighting game since they already have 2 shooters, a 3D fighter, and a party game.

Yeah, SF would be sweet. I'm not gonna lie though, MLG has a nerdy image (not that it matters). When you look at EVO it just doesn't give the same vibe. Again, it's not that important. What Is important is that the SF community expands because of this.
Edit: What 3D fighter ? It better be Tekken lol

Wasn't it Dead or Alive 4 for awhile? If so they better change it back, that game was better than Tekken 6.
