No offense but I've heard people say that it's Elena's stage.

That's like saying the Africa Air Field stage is like Elena's stage.

They are both in Africa, that's the beginning and end of it. Beats In My Head is one of my favorite 3rd Strike tracks.

Ibuki
• She can Super Jump like C. Viper and apparently Cancel some of her normals with her Super Jump as well.

• Super: Kasumi Suzaku — Ibuki's projectile throwing Super from Third Strike. She unleashes a barrage of kunai and shurikens after leaping into the air.

• Ultra 1: Yoroi Dooshi — She attacks her opponent with her fist and elbow making a big energy ball come out.

• Ultra 2: Hashin Shou — This is from 2nd Impact, it wasn't in Third Strike. Ibuki performs a series of attacks and follows up by throwing a ton of her kunai (daggers).

Makoto
• Super: Tanden Renki/Semenokata — Unlike in Third Strike, Makoto can now block when she does this Super and can also perform her Ultras while it's activated, it's still timer based. This pisses Makoto off and makes her attacks take off more power.

• Ultra 1: Seichuusen Godandzuki — Performs a series of really powerful punches.

• Ultra 2: Abare Tosanami Kudaki — Makoto's off the wall jump attack, she follows up with some upwards punches after she lands.

Dudley
• Super: Rocket Upper — Dudley performs multiple Jet Uppercut attacks.

• Ultra 1: Rolling Thunder — Charges him forward and he connects with several powerful punches.

• Ultra 2: Corkscrew Cross — Somewhat like the Corkscrew Blow Super Art in Third Strike, but seems to do more damage.

keep in mind, this is from Event Hubs, so may not be 100 percent accurate.

This however you can trust:

Ibuki:

- has target combo, even her jump LP->HP
- Ultra2 (hashin sho) goes through projectile
- far stand LP is very fast, and good poke
- crouch HP is very good anti-air

Dudley:

- gun upper -> ultra works
- rolling thuner goes through projectiles

makoto:

- can jump cancel Abare (ultra 2)

Nice info.

So, Dudley's machine gun upper still allows for all that juggling. Interesting. Ibuki and Makoto look tight as well.

The concept art describes it as Guile's stage. It's not the USA, but it's apparently Guile's stage, though I wonder why Shadaloo can be seen in the back from time to time.

For anyone who has a PS3, SF II HDR will be on sale this thursday for $7.50 on the PS Store. Get it, i think it'll only last for a week.

With no Elena, making the new Africa stage in what looks like the Serengeti is just cruel.

Anyway, old news, but I only just found a translation of that SSFIV blog entry last month that revealed Character Themes unlockable for playing in the stages. I'm late as hell, but I'm still very happy. Apparently it's like Brawl where you can set multiple songs for stages, judging by the picture...

I can see it now: Street Market has Chun Li for Day, Ibuki/Gen for Night... Fei Long/Honda/Akuma/Gouken for Temple... Dee Jay for the Cruise Ship... Brazil has Blanka for Night and Fuerte/T. Hawk for Day... Makoto for Overpass... Balrog for Drive-In... Guile for the Air Base... Unfortunately, no Elena means no Beats In My Head for Africa... Dhalsim/Sagat for India... Seth/C. Viper/Bison for SIN Base...

Probably Honda for the Junk, though that might result in me playing that stage way too much. Maybe I'll just have it as alt music for every stage.

Just wondering, is anyone besides me going to be putting that to good use?

Well that's news to me! Coolness!
The one thing that did disappoint me about IV was that it only used a few characters' themes. I'm glad to see that everyone else's are finally being used.

with 2 months until release it'd be cool if the remade SF2 stages in 3D for additionally character specific stages so there's no "sharing"

Ryu's Street Fighter II Stage up on top of the Roof Top with his Theme in Full Orchestra like the SF:IV version would = Complete and utter annihilation!

Yes, I would wet my pants if I saw and heard that on the real notion. However, besides that, this game is getting a boat load of hype, it's just crazy to say the least. All I'm hoping for is that characters who need to be beefed up get it, and to those who were Top-Tier but were not stupidly overpowered do not get complete melt down nerfs.

Considering the top-tier class of SF:IV were the most balanced 1st installments of a SF series of all time when in contrast looking back too WW. Guile, A1 Guy, and NG Ibuki, and the notion is clear that Sagat, Ryu, and Gouki are not that bad at all.

I'll be looking forward to this game, I'm pretty sure it'll leech another $40 from me to get this game and play it from time to time.

Oh wait, was that speculation on your part, or was that confirmed?

That's what it says here. It's a translation from the blog.

I guess I kind of assumed you could assign them to stages (I couldn't sworn he said that but apparently my mind must've added that part.
