I mean I'm not saying that you should do it just because you feel like it's an easy win
But it's an honest option that shouldn't be disbarred because you feel like it's not really a "real stage to play on."

Cps are a totally viable option and you should get used to them, even if they might be banned in the future.

Let me clarify everything real quick before I get off track
I think it's good to expand your repertoire without relying on them as a crutch

beating people on not good stages all the time will make u a better player overall

you already have a slight disadvantage vs everyone simply due to playing falcon (which is not nearly as bad as people think)

but it'll teach you how to beat people despite being expected to lose more often than not by simply being the better player

What stages do characters(opponents) usually ban/stage strike vs falcon?

are there any characters that would also hate to go on FoD so that I wouldn't have to stage strike it or ban it myself?

I ask these questions because I often find myself thinking of a cp or a stage to strike/ban but wonder what if they strike it /ban it instead. That would benefit me and also leaves me choice to ban/strike something else. It also is good to know when choosing CPs such that you can think of an appropriate backup CP knowing that your opponent will most likely ban the CP you want to go to as your primary choice. ie. vs sheik....FD will probably be banned so you'll probably have to prepare to go to pokemon stadium or something?

Inputs?

Because he's basically like Falcon
But better in every way

He moves around
Baiting moves
Punishing forever and basically taking a stock every time he does
And when he's offstage he's dead

Some falco players like fod. ..

Ie. shiz. Also falco is slower in movement and relies heavily on lasers. I think that is the biggest problem with fod for them. They can't short holder as well but they can still combo really well right?

falcos pretty good on FoD

about infinitely better than falcon in some matchups

most players hate FoD though except for the gheys (kage)

i honestly love playing (semi) rush down falco

but it doesn't work vs ghey marths

Man when Falco/Marth just stands under a platform or with their body/head through I just don't know what to do on FoD. Well, I just wait for the platform or them to move. But that is kinda boring and I would like there to be something better.

See, when I drive, it's like: "I am 100% positive that he would rather break and be super angry than hit my car. Lets see what happens."

I have a perfect driving record for the 4 years I've been driving.

when i drive i like to run over people. so it's the same as my smash.

usually i just stomp marth out from under the platform. marth will just keep u-tilting so you can kinda time it.

Yeah it's really good against players who do utilt early
If people wait then it's disappointing

Can you stomp through platforms against marth and other tall characters on the same stages? If so which ones? I know yoshi's probably works on everyone (marth, falcon, peach, sheik, zelda, who else? ) battlefield?

You can stomp marth through all plats but DL ones, but he can crouch under all of them to not get hit. Except for the low FoD obviously.

stomping on platforms is pretty legit except when they duck

so the more I play YS against Foxes
The more I regret it

Maybe it's just the caliber of fox
But that stage just feels so tiny
I don't like it at all

Really??? i'm starting to really hate big stages vs foxes. They have too much room to run =(

All of neutrals except DL64
Of course depends on height of the character and if they're crouching

But yeah Windrose
You having room to run and they having room to run > you dying very quickly
I mean obviously this is playstyle difference
But it makes me wanna sob in a corner

Oh
Then all of them

It's just a matter of making sure your body is up high enough
Meaning, you'll have to FH sometimes

Which I guess don't really answer the question
So I suppose just YS FoD BF

Which again
I guess is all of them except DL64

I think only YS has consistently stompable from short hop platforms (not totally sure)
FoD owns your jump too much for it to be consistent and fullhop stomp is just a big guess for the most part ... there might be some way to cover options with stomp involving drifting around but I'm not sure

Also knee has the biggest hitbox ever, just putting that out there
Pretty sure it covers in place and one techroll on a PS platform

I got really annoyed with FoD earlier today and just ended up staying in the centre where the platforms couldn't muck up my jumping. Needless to say I lost nearly every time.

Any advice on FoD when both platforms are at that ****e level?

you really can't do anything

smart foxes will abuse this fact and camp when the platform is barely raised at that ghey point where you can't aerial without getting kok blocked

if you manage to grab and hit them onto the platform though, i suggest using up-smash

Me and leffen played like 10 friendlies in a row at G2 and like, every stock he'd try the exact same approach and combo and everything. He got so insanely predictable that I went from getting 3 stocked to going even after like one match.

Again: friendlies don't mean anything really, maybe he was just testing something out on you, you can't know for sure unless you've played him in tournament.
