Hey guys, I've been away for about two moths(or 60 pages of posts) and because I don't feel like reading all the posts can anyone pm me the activity in this thread? You know like new amazing stages or tutorials?
Also, sorry if this is off topic...
don't be lazy. read it yourself. its not like you're gonna strain anything.

Alright, FrozenHobo, tell me what you think.

Also, I can change the background if you want to, I just tried to find a random one and this one fitted the most.

hm... nice... i think i'll try to add those signs now so the location is a little more obvious.

thanks.

edit: actually, could you make the "dept_store_elevator_side" not be brick? the idea was that they would be the doors to the elevator.

Just a question, how do you guys render those stages? I know brawlbox is used for editing collisions, boundaries and adding models but...

Since I never made a stage from scratch, I dunno...

That's not normal, Zenox. Did you replace the Misc Data, or Texture Data?

And br3compactor, I just open the collisions editor and take pictures. o_o

Eh?

No, I mean, how do you make 3d buildings and stuff.
Oh, it's pretty easy. Just import a model in your Model Data, rename it to anything. Then, import any block you want (Like Stage Builder ones), and go in the Materials1 folder. Click on the + of each materials, and change the names to the names of the textures it will use. I'll use Platform1/2/3 as an example. Do the same for Textures1. Then, make three textures, and name them Platform1, Platform2, and Platform3, after importing them. Save your stage, re-open it, then look at your block model. It should be using the textures you imported. Well, that's it. You import models, change the textures they need to use, then you import the textures and name them the same as what the block should use. After that, you can decide to animate, or change the translation/rotation/scale of the model.

Oh, I forgot about what Mr.Chuy said. You can do that as well. It's in the ARC Entry, on the right.

Aww, I wanted to be the one! Lol.

Also, I finished fixing my SoTN stage, thanks to Mewtwo telling me what to do. I'll give you guys news soon.

Edit: It loaded! But..what the heck..

One archway and a pillar are really small, and are in one spot. The background is on the left, and everything else is black.

Looking perfect, Mewtwo, stop teasing! XD.

Do you know why I have my problem?

And Chuy, I'll try what you said, but that won't fix the models being there, that, I'm sure of it.

No teaser. It's in the vault.

Also, it's not finished, but it's good enough to be shared xD

And to stretch, enlarge and whatever, do I have to vertex hack the mdl0?

I don't know ANYTHING about animations :(
If I need to mess with that I will need to learn first.

Also, since I check Brawl Vault's RSS every and each second, I've seen it already Mewtwo_2000 ^^U

So you're one of those 4 downloads before announcing it was in there xDDD

OH, I didn't see the button! XD.

YEEEES. *downloads*

What about my problem? Lol.
The arches need an animation too.

About the black... Not sure what you mean, but you could be needing another lighting (scenedata)

Also, I know you want making an HD version of Hyrule 64, but I'm reminding you that one of you pals in ESH is making the stage too. I think you should wait for his ^^U xD

Also, feedback is appreciated, as it's a beta (there are a few things more I have to include)

No, not at all. Create an animation in the Model Data, name it like you want, then open each model you made, click on that animation you created, and change the values.

Translation = moving the model
Rotation = rotating the model
Scale = scaling the model

The arches need an animation too.

Well, did you see the picture I showed?

I can upload my stage if you want to.

As for Hyrule Field, I was going to ask if I could do it, and I know that Mastaklo is working on his. Why should I wait for his version? I personally prefer yours over his. Maybe you're thinking that it would ruin his update, but I don't think so, as we all have different versions, plus, people will see your version as well.

What models did you use?
I replaced some of the Jungle Japes ones with the Battlefield stage and platforms.

BTW, earlier in the thread, I saw someone was having a problem texturing Perfect Chaos. The one texture was showing up all over? I have the same problem on one of my stages, but I couldn't find how that was solved. Can anyone tell me what's the matter?

1. Make sure the texture is the same format as where you got it.
2. Try this: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9329.0

Well, I guess I'll leave my SoTN stage like that for now and work on HD Hyrule.

Talking about that, what do you guys think of this background? I just made it by combining multiple backgrounds together, and making some things by myself. I combined a forest, a field, sky (Which I recolored), and added a mountain that I recolored, redrew, and made the custom cloud above it.

I'm almost done, I have to change the mountain cloud a bit, but here's how it looks like so far:

Edit: Done!

Edit: Actually, I don't like the fact that it used a pink background, so I'll make it blue.
