I'm curious to see more about the Kalos Pokemon League Stage. I'm wondering if it will function more similarly to Skyloft/Isle Delfino where the players will just move through the rooms or if it will be Sm4sh's Pokemon Stadium with different elemental components affecting the battle and corresponding with of each of the E4 member's rooms.

No because they still allow cheap tactics such as back throws from the screen edge and the competitive community is very much sold on the recovery game being one of Smash's most important features. I'm not going to say yay or nay to them myself but the community would never allow them.

Like I said in the other thread, there don't seem to be stages for Game & Watch or Xenoblade. But there is one for Rhythm Heaven (stg.jumpusagi, Rabbit Jump from Rhythm Tengoku), which is curious. Well, Kid Icarus originated on the NES.

Not only that leak is fake, but Sakurai never stated that the Wii U version would solely have stages from console games, same for the 3DS version and handheld stages. What he said is that MOST stages on the Wii U version would be from console games, same for the 3DS version and handheld game stages.

That 3DS stage leak has Casino Palace from F-Zero GX (a GCN game) listed and the Pokémon League from X/Y is on the Wii U version.

Umh seems like it. I remember when the whole content of PSABR was leaked due to the beta released on the PSNetwork.

I would honestly want more a paper mario stage (especially the TTYD theater( than those. I'm daydreaming but it would be awesome.

If Paper Mario is a character then that would make sense. Though, there could be one based on the Thousand Year Door or Super Paper Mario for Wii U, and one based on Sticker Star for the 3DS.

I'm a huge fan of the Pac, and I agree. Pac-Land looks atrocious.

I feel that laziness, or at least, ease of production was the major factor in this decision. Instead of making an HD remake of Pac-Land, they just ported over the old graphics with the excuse that "Well, Pac-Man is all retro-themed anyway, so we'll make his stages just as retro!".

But I agree, in that they shouldn't have to be that faithful. Pac-Man himself is in HD, so shouldn't other elements of his inclusion follow in suit?

I have to agree, the Pac-Land stage looks pretty awful. It looks to be a scrolling stage of all things as well. What I'm interested to see, though, is its FD-version (if it has one).

I don't really mind Pac-Land, I like how it clashes ridiculously with the HD visuals, I just want that perfect Pac-Labyrinth stage on the Wii U, I mean, what the hell!? The original Pac-Man arcade wasn't something handheld or portable, we need that stage on the Wii U.

Ok so I've been thinking that we are still missing several obligatory stages in the Smash franchise:
-A Yoshi Series stage (Yoshi music played in Smash Direct)
-A DK Stage (DK music played in Smash Direct and Pre-Invitational Tournament)
-A Wario Stage (Wario is definitely coming back and ATs from his series are Waluigi (had Wario icon) and Ashley)
-An Ice Climbers Stage (Polar Bear is in Smash Run)
-Kirby Stage (Kirby music in Smash Direct)
-Star Fox Stage (Star Fox music in Smash Direct)
-An F-Zero Stage (Samurai Goroh in Smash Direct and Rainbow Road acts like Mute City/Port Town Aero Drive)
-A Mother Stage (Mr. Saturn and Franklin Badge confirmed as returning items)
-A New Flat Zone (Mr. Game & Watch teased in Pac-Man Trailer)
-Possible New Mario Stages (Brawl had Delfino Plaza, Mario Circuit, Mushroomy Kingdom, and Luigi's Mansion so 2 more?)
-Possible New Zelda Stage (Brawl had Bridge of Eldin and Pirate Ship so 1 more?)
-More Returning stages

What do you guys think?

Also, I think we should be able to switch between the different games' FDs. Melee's was the place for the Giga Bowser Battle, which has become a staple of the series, and Brawl's FD goes through the place where the Island of the Ancients used to be, they both have sort of a canonical importance,

Id Purpose...it's not THAT bad, but we're talking about Nintendo here, the same people that have Gangplank Galleon, Crocodile Cacophony, King Koopa Nemesis, Big Bad Baby Bowser, the final Ganondorf Theme from WW, Dialga's Fight to the Finish, Cynthia Battle, Ghetsis Battle...kinda lame as a Final Boss theme.

I never liked the Avatar's theme on any rendition, I would rather have a Don't Speak Her Name remix as the final boss theme.

Well, seeing as Namco-Bandai is going to work on the game with Nintendo/Project Sora, And seeing as there's a good chance Pac-Man will be a newcomer (I still want KOS-MOS), here's a stage idea I think will fit Pac-Man quite well:

Hi, never posted in this thread before but after playing Kirby Fighter there is a stage I would love remade for Smash: the Bubbly Clouds stage. This stage was pretty perfect:

Simple stage with two platforms; just get ride of the walk off for Smash. The stages main hook is Kracko, who shows up on the stage. He was a perfect stage boss; not in the way, but still a threat. Both Bubbly Cloud and Kracko are stables of the Kirby series and are worthy of being represented in Smash.

Kracko swoops in occasionally, hangs out for a bit, turns black, performs an attack, then leaves The platforms block the majority of his attacks. They are:

Lightinging [Blocked by platforms]: Kracko sweeps from left to right shooting lighting on the ground. This attack is powerful but very easy to see coming.
Rain [Blocked by platforms]: Kracko targets a player and pummels him with a shower of rain. This rain traps players in the attack until it is finished.
Beams: [Not blocked by platforms] :Kracko lowers itself on one of the platforms and shoots out two large Waddle Dee eye beams around itself.

When Kracko turns black players scramble to get under the two platforms.[/collapse]
