There's a stage discussion thread here. It may not be currently on Pirate Ship, but just start it up in there and see if anyone wants to talk about it

This stage should be great for G. Dorf. His spike is an instant kill if it connects while they're in (or above) the water...

What makes it soo good is spiking is really easy in the water, and if you Ganondcide when you are on the left side of the stage near the ship's front, the ship spikes when and you live.

Also, IDK else where but in the Minnesota tournaments it is a counter pick.

Definately a great Ganon stage... for some people <.<
I use a lot of Dair in my Ganon, and the fact that Pirate Ship isn't a level surface throws my game off hard. But the Ganoncide to boat spike just about makes up for it xD

It can still go the other way. You spike them in the air and the water saves them.

Obviously UpAir Ganons own here, due to the platforms. And yeh, the water is annoying but if you're both stuck in the water, your spike is tooo good so you should win.

A definite YES! for a counterpick.

Ehh...Pirate Ship was Ganon's best stage when everyone else was stupid enough to stay in the water. Now that everyone's wised up, I think it's downgraded to "favorable."
