You can click on pretty much any tourney thread here in the Midwest and the rules should be in the first post, for doubles and singles.

And, whatever you do, don't use Kirby. XD

Not much too it. People meet at an organized event, meet, have fun, and beat the living snot out of one another. It's like Fight Club, but with less blood and dissociative personalities.

If you were asking about the format, that's pretty standardized now across the nation. You each ban a stage and play randomly on one of the "neutral" stages. Then the loser counter-picks stage and second character, and if needed this is repeated for a third or further rounds.

....and yeah, don't use Kirby. (As much as it would make my Jiggly happy if you did...)

Deku/Geno how do you double SHL with Fox? Do you use the joy stick or are you quick with the Y button? I just didn't feel like looking it up and you guys do it consistently.

Geno told me he uses the Y button, he explained it to me because i was amazed at how well he did it, I can't do it as well as those two at all, but I can do 3 rshdl in a row(reverse short hop dbl lazer)=O

If you really know your Kirby, like really know it, I would only suggest it vs Falcon, Ganondorf, and DK.

for shot hop single lasering with fox i use the Y button, its pretty similar to falco's. for short hop double lasering i use the control stick. Im pretty consistent with both but i prefer short hop double laser and full jump triple laser combined because its easy and gets the most damage.
i cant rdshl... but I can rshl and its better anyway...
im trying to work on shining out of the shield.. havent really gotten it consistent yet... kinda hard to practice it since its situational but it ***** marth so hard

in other news drephen 4 stocked me a game at MSOP. it was amazing
