SuSa's Signature Shoppe
I figured I'd open a shop in an attempt to start working on graphics again. I haven't done anything graphic related in months, and no serious work in nearly 2 years now. It's something I really love to do and enjoy - but I'm horribly out of practice and usually uninspired to create.
This shop is to force me to create. Hopefully it works out.
THE RULES
All signature requests must fit in the following rules.
- No larger than 400x185 (Width/Height)
- 1 Render ONLY
- If you expect a good signature - I don't do sprite signatures. Sorry.
- If you'd like an accompanying avatar, let me know. I'll see what I can do.
- 1 request biweekly. This means you can only request a signature once every 2 weeks. This is subject to change, and other peoples' signatures are a priority over yours if you are a recent 'customer'
- Be courteous of my time. If I say I'll have it done by the next day, and it's not done. You better not bug me about it. If it's not done after several days - remind me. I probably forgot about it as I'm a pretty busy person.
- ALL PRODUCTS ARE FINAL! If you don't like it; unless the change would take a matter of seconds, I will not make changes. GET OVER IT
- Requests that do not use the following chart will be ignored.
Code:
Size:
Render/Stock:
Color Scheme [Optional]:
Style [Vector, Abstract, Grunge, etc. I'll try my best OPTIONAL]
Text [Keep under 10 characters.. please.. I've always been bad with text]
Size -
I find the best sizes are rectangluar (length wise) and usually fall under one of the following sizes:
300x125 | 350x150 | 350x185 | 400x185 | 500x200 [I will rarely do this size]
Render/Stock -
Due to me sucking at rendering (it's time consuming is the real excuse) I will not render images - you must give me a pre-rendered image. If you are unsure on where to find one, try searching on Planetrenders.net . They have plenty to choose from, and many are top quality.
If you are using a stock, please try to find a high quality picture with your focus point not being horribly cluttered. I will be unable to make a good stock image if I don't have some negative space to work with.
Color Scheme -
I would not fill this out unless you want a specific set of colors, or have some knowledge of color theory. Sorry, but many people want high contrast or "poor choice" colors. I've seen someone ask me for a dark blue and bright green signature before. I did not fill out the request because if it looks horrible in the end, I don't submit it.
Style -
I actually don't know many styles; and most are experimentations. I do not do vector or pen tooling. I'm not too great at smudging, and I usually just do my own mix between abstract and effects. If you want a specific style however, try to link me to an example work and I'll see what I can do.
Text -
Most signatures look bad with text. This is usually due to very few people being good at blending text into a work or being horrible at typography. I happen to be one of the people whom suffer from both.
