SSB64 style Brawl tourney (SSBBFan1300 wins)

Since SSB64 is going to be released on the VC on American soil soon I though I do this special tourney.

here are the rules:
SSB64 characters only!!!! (does include CF, Jiggs, Luigi, and Ness)
Brackets will be single elimination with at least 8 but no more than 16
Each round will be best 2 out of 3 with finals being 3 out of 5.
Each match will be 3 stock with an 8 minute timer
no items
no stalling
no freezing or any other action that will prevent the match from continuing
If Kirbycide is performed and it results in Sudden Death, the person who initiated the Kirbycide will be declared the winner.

Well if you want to follow the N64 format you would have to consider that SSB only had the following stages: Congo Jungle, Dream Land, Hyrule Castle, Mushroom Kingdom, Peach's Castle, Planet Zebes, Sector Z, Saffron City, Yoshi's Island.

The winner of this tourney will be gifted at no cost SSB64.

Since there is no announced release date you can not really promise this, currently..

The tourney will start as soon as enough people sign up, although I would like to start by the end of the week as SSB64 could be released today.
I would like rounds to be done in one day.
I'll probably will be randomly generating the bracket.

I'd only be able to play weekends, I'm sure other people would have the same problem. Also due to the limitations on this I do not think you may find loads of people willing to play.

Anyway if you get the other seven or 15 people I'll play, I may be able to get one more person.

O_o. You give us ONE DAY to do a match? What if he's in like Europe and I'm in America? You have to give us time to schedule! Atleast 3-4 days! It's extremely quick, and what if I happened to just not get on that one day? And you could have atleast sent all your players a VM or something of a reminder...

I'm going to have to agree with tsilver on this one, a day is a bit too quick (even though it would be wonderful to actually finish a round this quickly). You might want to give us a few more days or this thing will never get finished from all the cancellations.
