To be fair.
I doubt that full analysis is needed at this point. It's easy to see that there's too many off details and alike comparisons that this is looking like a hodge-podge.
And then there's this, which leads to possible satire.
I wouldn't say him looking a lot like Marth would make the leak seem less legit. Given that the two characters are related. And that we do see some minor differences between them. Still, I'm not going to put much faith into this being real. Too much fishy stuff going on. I might be the only one that thinks this, but it seems weird that the TV screen would be so clear.
But why would a Japanese leaker have an English Other M poster, an English book of photography and a printed picture of the Irate Gamer on his wall?
I had GIMP up anyway, not a problem.
Just want to point out that the stage does look like an exact rip of Marth's intro image. The concealed cape makes the photoshop on this one easy to make up. And Chrom looks very similar to Ike.

I will say I was just in Japan and a LOT of stuff is written in english, as in book titles and posters and stuff could definitely be in english, and that piece of paper near the tv does appear to have possibly Japanese written on it.

I remember back when Lady Palutena was first leaked that you said you were a good leak buster.
The leak is to perfect its need to be shaded in and more like a smudge and have horrible camera angle then it will be more believable. Xd
Here's the thing.
I Dont Know if this Means ANYTHING at All, But in The Animal Crossing Games, April Fools Day is A Holiday Celebrated in all Versions (JP,NA,EU), But I Dont Really think that Makes a Difference. Besides, Sakurai is The King of Passing over Certain Anniversary's/Holidays when We Expect him to Acknowledge them. Im STILL Gonna be up late tonight Looking forward to the Big Post, however (If its gonna be big at All..)

No matter where the picture is at, anything can turn out to be real.To the Palutena leak's credit, her model is not exactly the same as her models in Brawl and Uprising.
Chrom looks extremely similar to Marth and Ike and thus could easily be made with simple texture and model hacks on him. Two pics that sand out to me are these two:
Someone must have access to this game and is actually playing as Chrom, did a texture and model hack on Marth or Ike to make him look like Chrom, or Photoshopped a picture of Marth with Chrom instead (the last one would be hard to do).
Overall... it's hard for me to tell. Regardless if it's legit or not, I still expect Chrom to get in Smash.
