Why would you want Shadow? Why would you want a 3rd party character that at most would be a clone.

As much as Cliffjumper's overselling of Sonic getting a second character is irritating even me, I find statements like this to be just as irritating.

But yeah, not discussion for Rumors and Leaks, so, all I will say here.

I do - I also know that in the past 10 years, there have been a lot more crappy Sonic games than good. The franchise is currently shaky at best and not worthwhile of a second character when compared to consistently excellent first parties such as TLoZ, Mario, Kid Icarus and so on.

Let me ask you this, do you know what happens to staff members who leak out real information? I'll tell you, it's not pretty!

Just a friendly reminder that adding "Anyway back on topic" or something similar to a post does not magically make it completely topic related.

And just because a character seems frivolous in a given role ("x" as playable, "y" as an assist, etc.) to you personally doesn't mean it's impossible/won't happen.

On a more personal perspective, I think that Phosphora's incredibly detailed trophy would actually encourage the other side of Palutena leak argument, considering it seems that all KI:U models are getting revamped rather than just ported, meaning Palutena could indeed be an incredibly detailed Assist Trophy rather than playable. I always found the whole "but her fingers are too detailed!" point to be silly.

That's what it's like being a leaker, just look at some of the reactions brawl's have gotten. You can't expect to type something up and expect people to 100% believe it in a forum that is made to critique and discuss leaks.

There's no reason to believe what hasn't happened yet (besides what's been kind of obvious). Now if what you say is revealed to be true, then we'll probably be a bit more open to you.

Everything you said has been supported because you've literally made the easiest of guesses. You only added certain parts, like Palutena being an Assist Trophy, to make it seem like it was a "leak".

From what I recall, Mega Man's Final Smash being Rush Armor and Skull Kid being a Snorlax clone (dropping the Moon instead) were the main things to draw from his first post. Waluigi/Palutena as AT's could be considered "easy guesses," the latter especially since he claimed he didn't see her in action himself. As with all leaks, I'm neither willing to believe or dimiss them so easily.
