We also have the Mother 3 and Fire Emblem anniversaries, so we could get Lucas and/or Ike.

Well Lucario was revealed on Brawl's Japanese anniversary. That means something, right?
Peach was revealed for the anniversary of Super Mario Bros. 1, and Lucario for Brawl's.

Actually she was revealed on the Thursday for them as well as they update later in the day, not a full day afterwards. So while the anniversary was on a Friday and there was another update they could used for Peach, they didn't wait a day.

A couple days ago he claimed that a friend of his told him all this stuff that he managed to learn but wasn't supposed to (didn't tell us how exactly that went down in an effort to conceal/protect his friend's identity and job) and claimed he was going to elaborate once he got off the plane and whatnot. Then the Revenge of the Palutena leak discussion (... AGAIN...) kicked it's way into the conversation again with absolutely no warning and disrupted the whole thing and people forgot all about him it seems.
