Found this while looking for leaks, I've never seen this one discussed.

there is something that just bothers me about this and that is the fact that Sakurai fired someone, how would anyone know that. (and plus if this was a leak from a developer wouldn't this person get fired too?)

I think Wii Fit trainer is the "huh" character of this gen. S/he is the one that everyone is going to be mad at. I don't think that any leaks without a "huh" character are safe. So people say that the roster needs some crazy out there character but we already have it. Essentially all leaks are "safe" at this point because they all include the "out there" character that everyone hates.

This was posted before Rosalina's reveal, but it comes across as photoshopped, thanks to that convenient listing off of the Assist Trophies in the order the first three were revealed. I'd not mind it being true, of course, but yeah.

Also, even more tellingly, this mentions the Palutena leak, and yet allegedly takes place on a date before that leak even happened. Add it to the scrap heap with the rest of them.

Any idea when the Palutena leak was? That would prove this fake.

Yoshi on March 14th (friday) is the only one I know of.

A few rumors state that he will:
a - carry baby mario
b - be made of yarn
c - have a new move(set)

But I expect for him to stay the same, minus graphical updates.

Having Baby Mario on his back would be a welcome change. But being made out of yarn, seriously? It would make a cute alternative costume, but not his default.

Most leaks say Snake will be cut. He has a bit of a chance due to Snake Eater 3D, but not releasing on the Wii U with a brand new game could seriously hinder his chances. Similar how Rayman was Wii U exclusive at first...

And Swampasaur is not politically correct all the time, but you know he's the most straightforward presidential pokemon out there!

We debunked those being used AGES ago.Only exception is Lucario for Brawl's anniversery.

If he's holding out on the off chance we get something run of the mill anniverseries, then a huge release like MGS5 should be mentioned too.

Well, unless they do a Worldwide Direct and another newcomer announcement this month, I wouldn't count on seeing Palutena yet. However, I'll bet he'll post more details on the Wii U stage, or character flavor or what have you.

Honestly I'm pretty sure at this point we'll see Palutena/Ridley/K. Rool/Pacman/Whoever you want that's big and popular and not likely to be a secret character (except Pacman) at E3.

YES! Finally, someone understands! I've had enough of the "he fought DK once, so his reveal promoted Tropical Freeze" and the "anniversaries are most important--it would only make sense to reveal him on his." The timing of his reveal had more to do with marketing Smash than anything like this, I'm sure of it.

My newest theory about his reveal is that they're trying to toss most of the less-requested characters out there first, and saving the highly requested characters for later. Keep in mind--Mac was heavily requested here, but he was a niche request in Japan and most people looked at him as a shock character over there.

I'd only put stock into yoshi and pokemon getting a reveal this month because those are new games, and it seems the most obvious. I don't put that much faith in anniversary reveals for veterans, there are just too many dates.... I expect to get trolled hard.........

Yea, it sure is. Thats the day that Smashboards will explode because Palutena gets revealed as an assist trophy... Actually if its an uprising character like Magnus or Eggplant wizard then that would help some leaks. And it would help Palutenas chances of being playable.
