I don't think that this is true. This just sounds too good to be true and it focuses too much on the western audiences in my opinion.
I find it odd how Gangplank Galleon is a stage rather than an area from DKCR or Tropical Freeze. DK might get two stages, but this seems off.
I can see Shulk be an Assist Trophy, but I can't see him get that sort of treatment. He is heavily wanted by Japan…
Mr. Game & Watch being revealed after Diddy Kong is also odd. In fact, the first Game & Watch was released in April in 1980…

It's definitely a "dream leak" as it has just about everyone the majority of fans want. The only thing keeping it from perfection is Shulk as an AT. :glare:

I know there's a clear possibility of those Diddy and Lucario leaked pictures being fake, but I have to wonder... If, say, Lucario or King DDD's art had leaked before their reveal, would people had doubted them because they're "too similar" to their Brawl models/poses?

Yeah that Layton tweet was a joke post made way before Smash 4 even started development so nah, there's no point in having that "rumour" in the OP.

But why say Mega Man of all characters, like why not say characters that were actually in Brawl? Why go out of the way and mention characters that had never been in a Smash game before...its just odd.


I'm probably thinking WAY to hard about this.

I'm surprised none of the leaks have gone all out and announced something entirely new and different as SSE, Adventure Mode, Event Matches, or Final Smashes were to the smash formula.

Actually makes me a bit worried that they aren't adding in anything new. A new mechanic of some variety would be nice, even if it's something like tech moves being changed to be more common/accessible.

Well neither were Geno or Little Mac (as playable characters) The guy was just writing a prank in regards to the next Smash games by using some of the popularly requested characters during Brawl, Not the game that was already out the year before. (I can't really remember if Kid Icarus Uprising was even announced during that time....)

Simple, everyone (pre-E3) wanted Mega Man, it's been like this since Brawl.

there was a leak that talked about a new mode called smash lovers, thats all i can remember, maybe someone has a link to it

how does NOBODY think that the layton tweets were a reference to the hacked twitter posts a while back? you know, went something like "mega man, geno, and isaac" except replacing isaac with little mac. then "one of the two". it seems to me pretty obvious, considering that was the only big thing i remember that contained mega man and geno. plus it was on twitter, so idk guys...

Hacked? Sakurai wasn't hacked, it's incredibly easy to edit a message from a facebook feed / twitter feed to make someone appear to say something else.
