Ahah almost the same thing happened to me this night. I went to bed sooner than usual to be as fit as possible for the direct (which is broadcasted midnight in my country), but I guess I was too hyped to fall asleep quickly.

It's less than height hours until the direct... I'm starting to be really impatient at this point.

B) The Direct just so happens to be RIGHT AFTER the deadline
C) Nintendo has done the release-after-Direct before
D) Sakurai said he's going to be released pretty soon and it is Spring already. Just in time.

As for the Treehouse presentation, that's a bit inappropriate to show off Mewtwo there. Sakurai should be the one to do that.
