Isn't there a treehouse presentation right after the direct? Maby they will show mewtwo there and not in the direct

Btw why do so many people think he will be released after the presentation? I mean the could send out the codes whenever they want (to the people who have requested the codes until the 7th)

And why fo i have this wierd profile picture? Is that kind of a april fool? :D

I just beat Classic on 9.0 with Samus. Marth still shows up as the top score on the difficulty screen even though both Ness and Samus have a higher top score and GSP...I don't get it!

Because

A) It's been about 5-6 months with no word on Mewtwo
B) The Direct just so happens to be RIGHT AFTER the deadline
C) Nintendo has done the release-after-Direct before
D) Sakurai said he's going to be released pretty soon and it is Spring already. Just in time.

As for the Treehouse presentation, that's a bit inappropriate to show off Mewtwo there. Sakurai should be the one to do that.


PS, Club Nintendo is down. Is that normal? I was trying to check my account for dl codes..

So my body decided to prank me by waking me up at 7am, after only four hours of sleep, knowing that today I wanted to sleep as much as possible to make the wait more bearable. Ugh.

I did dream last night, though, that Mewtwo was not shown at the Direct and not even mentioned at all... Can you imagine if that happens? It's kind of impossible, but still... I'd be soooooo mad.

Edit: WTF why is Shaq on everyone's avatars? LOL. I mean, it's funny, but I don't get the joke. Why Shaquille O'Neal specifically? Is this some kind of inner joke in the forums I've yet to understand?

What kind of dream is that? Sounds like a nightmare to me! Seriously, though, I'll be pretty upset if Mewtwo isn't shown during the Direct. You guys probably wouldn't want to be posting around me for awhile:p. I don't hate on things often, but when I do, I flip over every surface in the room.

And the reason everyone's avatar is Shaq is because Shaq is awesome, obviously. Also, his name makes a nice pun: "SmashBoards" to "ShaqBoards."

You know, it'd be goddamn amazing if they decided that this Direct, out of all of them, would be the perfect time to reveal they were working on Ridley and King K.Rool DLC as well. Just because then nobody would know if it was a joke or not. :p

So, you support Ridley, right? I know I've been asking a lot of questions to different supporters lately, but I do have one for you.
I'm a big Ridley fan, as well, and I would absolutely love to see him in Smash. However, I kind of see what people are saying about Ridley being hard to size down. Now, I'm not saying it's not doable, because it is, but I have a proposition. How would you feel if Ridley used a revamped version of his NES sprite? Like, he would have the same proportions and size, so he's more manageable, and he would be a fast and powerful character instead of a slow and powerful one. Since he has smaller wings, which are the main things that are hard to size down, I think he's a lot easier to implement, and when he flies, his wings would temporarily increase in size to provide lift. I don't really know how you'd feel about this, but I wouldn't mind it at all. I think it's a nice way to capture the ferocity of Ridley while also making him easier to implement as a fighter.
For reference:
That's kind of what I think he would look like: The same proportions as his NES sprite, but with the visual attributes of his more recent appearances. Again, I don't know how you'd feel about this, but I'm curious as to your thoughts on my idea.

Ok i know shaq avatars were activated due to april fools day but


Why coulden't they had made it mewtwo. Since we are getting gameplay for him today.
