Thank you! I found it on Google Images and thought it was really cool/sweet, and I had been meaning to update my avatar, so I figured I'd make good use of it.

I don't have much to say on the topic of PlayStation All-Stars, seeing as I've never played it, but I will say that, personally, I like Raiden better than Snake. He's cooler, in my opinion. However, he's not nearly as iconic as Snake, and I understand that, so I do find it quite strange that Raiden made it into PS All-Stars before him.

They chose Raiden because they wanted people to at least know it's not 90% Smash ripoff

Funny thing, @ Dabuz was the best PSASBR player and straight dominated the game for a long while before retiring and sticking to Smash.

Raiden, Kat (from Gravity Rush), Kratos, Sly Cooper and Nariko (Heavenly Sword) are the top 5 characters in PSASBR going by eventhubs which is untrustworthy.
It's a case of flocking to the characters that people think are top tier.

What EventHubs has isn't a tier list but a popularity list. Remember Wario and Little Mac are at the bottom of that list despite being better.

So, there's been a new leak! It states that there will a Nintendo Direct on August 3rd, which will include an Iwata tribute and a reveal trailer for King K. Rool. Here's a link to the images. The original leak was from 4chan, but it wasn't anything special. Apparently, all the OP said was that the Direct would happen on August 3rd. The images were the main course.

Personally, I do think that the inclusion of an Iwata tribute boosts the credibility of this leak. Furthermore, King K. Rool seems like a very likely choice for a DLC newcomer, given his immense popularity. The K. Rool model, however, does look a little low-quality. That's the main downer for me. It could, of course, be a similar situation to Mewtwo's reveal, where K. Rool is announced several months in advance to his official release, which would explain the lower quality, or they could be using K. Rool's in-game model, which would make little sense, but is a possibility nonetheless. That said, the render seen in the leak appears to be completely original, as no-one has found a similar model. That's another point in the leak's favor.

Personally, I'm going to take the stance that I always do. I'm going to remain skeptically neutral. There's only one thing against the leak, but it's a pretty big thing, and, while there are multiple possible explanations, I think it'll be better for me if I don't pick a side quite yet.

Regardless of the credibility of this leak, for the first time ever I feel that this time around King K. Rool has an actual chance due to literally being a popular fandom choice. And Sakurai and Nintendo acknowledged that is going to be for the fans as well throughout the ballout.

I was in Smash4 torunies there! in single and doubles!

I got top 3 in smash4 doubles with my girlfriend which was pretty amazing while in single I got to Top8 but I had to go because it was too late and I needed to take the last bus to my hotel ;_;

The only 100% true Smash 4 leak, the ESRB leak, originated on 4chan. It's anonymous message boards are actually very beneficial to leakers, though they can be a bit of a double-edged sword at times. It's really not that bad of a source.

The next patch should make Mewtwo heavier so he isn't one of the three lightest fighters. That will solve the problem!

Fair enough. I guess I just thought that it was a nice, little detail that most people wouldn't have thought to add. It doesn't really matter, anyway. The leak's already been proven false almost beyond a shadow of a doubt. A few claims surfaced, several similarities were found between the King K. Rool render seen in the leak and K. Rool's Smash 4 trophy render, and one guy on Twitter supposedly received an incriminating e-mail from the leaker. I'd be surprised if this leak turns out to be true now.

Most likely. A heavier Mewtwo would be better, but he won't be high tier or anything.

You're probably right. Mewtwo has more pressing issues, though. His weight just gets the most flak because it's highly obvious, like Pichu's self-damage gimmick in Melee. Really, I don't think Mewtwo's weight is the problem; I think lack of compensation is. If Sakurai would just fix up his hitboxes and stuff, then I think Mewtwo would immediately be a substantially better character. Toss in some extra power, give Teleport invulnerability during the startup, and maybe make him a little faster, and Mewtwo would probably become upper-mid, if not low-high, tier. In my opinion, Mewtwo's weight just isn't his biggest problem. I think he can be a good character and still maintain his Glass Cannon nature.

Well I've killed Fox at around 58% with a 100% rage true Shoryuken from Ryu, even though he's a fastfaller so... yeah.

Fox, Falco and Sheik are all incredibly lightweight, their fast falling speeds helps them survive a little longer though.
