Have you guys ever wondered how much WE contributed to Mewtwo's return? I can't imagine there being too many places online that has such a big Smash community, so if Nintendo were to look for opinions, they'd surely come here. We should all give ourselves a pat on the back because we kept talking about Mewtwo wayyyyyyyyy before the games were released. The only other community that surpassed us was the Ridley crowd but.. well we know how that ended. Point is, we more than likely helped with Mewtwo's return! 8 days!

Wouldn't it be awesome if Nintendo gave us a shoutout?

Why are we all giving Mewtwo +att or -sp.att natures? Mewtwo's four moves are Teleport, Disable, Confusion, and Shadow Ball.
Two of those are special moves and the other two are status moves.

To be fair, Mewtwo in Smash doesn't exactly use only special moves. He uses his tail a lot and Shadow Claw which are technically physical moves.

Mewtwo doesn't get captured by a Master Ball, he actually captures the Master Ball.

When you don't faint from a Mewtwo's attack, you shouldn't feel proud, he simply was saving up for something a little more then a 'KO' on the next turn.

When Mewtwo faints, he actually is giving up on you because you're actually "trying" to beat him.
A true Pokemon Master would know to simply bow down and accept defeat immediately at the sight of him.

100% agree. And kept him alive long enough to recognize that the demand will NOT go away.

This is why it's best that Mewtwo stays low tier.
He may be the most powerful Pokemon...but tbh, maybe that's why Sakurai made him bad in Melee. Only the most powerful players could show what he's made of.

Eh... I use Kirby a decent amount and it's arguable. I mean, he has a good recovery and is pretty fast and has combos... but on the other hand his approach options suck, his air speed suck, and his range sucks. He isn't a bad character... but he isn't good either. I didn't list all of Kirby's good and bad things, but you get what I mean. I'd put him mid or mid-low on the tier list tbh.

EXACTLY!!! That is precisely why 90% of Bug-types were also Poison-type and the strongest move was Twinneedle with a staggering 50 BASE POWER

He is pretty good with customs, mostly thanks to Upper Cutter. His fundamental problems are still there, though: he's slow in the air, doesn't have much range, no good projectiles, and no good kill throws or combo throws. Don't get me wrong, I'll play Mewtwo regardless of where he stands, but him being low tier would kinda suck.

Eh... I use Kirby a decent amount and it's arguable. Kirby's recovery without Upper Cutter is like Diddy's in that you can travel a long distance, but you're almost completely unprotected and can be edgeguarded easily.
