yo son, the asians are on the right track though: deep fried cheesecake is soooooooooo good!!!!

go to the sushi place, forgot the name, a lil down the street in almost the same strip as Saigon #1 on Va Beach Blvd and Newtown Rd....they take the f*cking cheesecake, split it into four pieces and THEN fry it, so it's like..extra fat. more surface area is deeeep friiiied and delicious ^_^

exactly. f*ck pride. if you end up caring too much about winning, then you'll lose what's fun about the game and what's fun about getting better. It isn't even about getting better so you can win money, yeah that's great motivation, but don't let your chances of winning/losing money/dignity be such a huge determining factor unless you honestly have money issues which a good number of people I know do, and I don't pressure them to come out to tourneys, OR I pay for the because I want them to have the experience. either way, it always works out better for those people in the end. So stop squandering. You may not think so because you've cared too much about losing or because you just weren't very good your first time paying to play, but afterwards, you'll realize it was worth it.

All of us (NC, Richmond, and SoVA) didnt do bad at all

Me, Geos, Isra, Nelo, Cdot, me, Pac, and all got 49th, lozr got 13th and beat some known names, Ether and Cyrain got out of pools, Tope got 9th I think, etc.

no one really ***** me at C3 either except for Neo's two-stock beatings. Actually, the only **** I got all weekend was when I played Lozr, savedge and Kitsune

i.. don't understand? people do host, and have been for the past couple weeks. if the problem is that it's at their own place rather than a public venue, then that is your problem not ours.

IMO private places have more to offer than most public places b/c for OOS' they can get free housing where ever the tourney is held, and there's no ******** BS to go through w/ the public venue.

I WANT REVENGE! I have to be frank with you schoolie; I underestimated you. since all of the other ppl there were SO NOOB i thought that tourney would be a walk in the park...then i play you and, having had no experience vs a good jiggs (or anyone else you used), reverted to gay sheik (with whom i wasnt even that gay) and lost miserably.

in short, I WANT REVENGE!

since when is simple housekeeping retarted bs? private places close out a potential audience of people who dont go to a private home of someone unknown personally. yes it makes sense to host privately for a group of people who know eachother (ie friends), but for true tournament play, public venues are protocol for a *real* tourney.

true tournament play has nothing to do w/ a venue. i only see a public venue needed if there is a lot of people going and if the tournament is meant to be big. most of us arent willing to pay a ridiculous amount of money to rent out a venue when the truth is, that not a lot of people are going to come. SO why waste it? true that going to a private house of a person can be uneasy.. but REAAAAAALLLY? the only potential audience that closes out is for lil kids who's parents are paranoid. we're smashers, not kidnappers and rapists. (Head Rapists) besides, what real tourney's have you been to? MCD's? hah /gg buddy.
