Thanks rhan also you should never want to get brawl out of your system lol
Brawl is okay. I only play team matches though. Singles put me to sleep.

And I probably won't play Brawl for a while. Melee is more important at the moment.

Lol, this is why SoVa is known as an anti-brawl area atm...

O-NO we need to play more PS. I'm starting to miss that game.

Is there a problem with being Anti-Brawl? :p

I have nothing against Brawl and it's differences with Melee. I just enjoy playing Melee more.

Well, yes and no...

Yes because it discourages others from playing the game in an instance. No because everyone has a right to like and dislike what they want.

I enjoy playing melee too(Played it for 3 hours with Toasty Sunday), I just want SoVa to enjoy Brawl just as much.

Take no offense to this Rhan, your a cool dude. You do actually try to play brawl and I'm not saying you hate the game, this is going towards people that are having doubts about playing/staying with brawl.

None taken at all.

I know how you feel towards that because I feel the same way about Melee. I just want people to still play Melee and play Brawl. Personally I don't care about these stupid "Brawl vs Melee" debates. It's just pointless bickering. I just would like people to still give Melee a shot and for Melee players to give Brawl a shot.

IMO, you should just play every fighter you can get your hands on. most fighting games have things that carry over to others so it can really help you!

Whodat and team BFN know what im talking about.

POWWA STOOOOOONE2!

i wanna learn more brawl, i think its time i hit the scene again. i want Sova's top 5 to teach me all they know!

im also ready to play more melee. i had some matches with C-stick that reminded me of the old days. after thanksgiving weekend, i think imma try and host something.

PS2 ftw...It would be nice if you could come through with something as far as hosting. I've touched up on my Melee Mario and I just picked up Luigi. I dropped CF for some odd reason, oh well.

I might/might not be top 5 in SoVa but if you want to learn Mario/Luigi in brawl I could show you the ropes

[Kadaj] I'm just upset that I don't get to play OTHER people more often...I'm so use to one/two types of playing styles...It's funny how I can beat Pro-staus players then lose to a random scrub...

Famous...you're inspiring me to add a line to my sig...
"I'm never placing lower than JCaesar ever again" lmao...he's really stepping it up though...SEE this is what happens when someone lives in a region that supports a game that can truly be played at an amazing level that involves incredible focus that DOESN'T put you to sleep but, instead, causes someone as amazing as DieSuperFly [DSF, LOL@the kid who found out that's what it stood for right before he had to play someone he thought might be a scrubby no-name] to have to wait and compose himself between intense sets [I think it was after beating Azen and right before playing NinjaLink in Winners Finals]

y'all just aren't willing to endure the bull**** to get to that level...

Kadaj: we need. more. matches.

Caboose: Thank you. omfg...it was a friendly but yo I totally beat Kirbstir's Falcon with Zelda in Melee LMFAO...it was a lot of good friendlies though, he's really goddamm good at that game X_X...mostly got wrecked, but good times.

Oh and apparently I still have the potential to be Doll's Peach with Ness (so close...but I didn't win this time :(:(:()....................................but then he 4 stocks my Marth and Fox. @_@

This is precisely what happened to me, though I won't call my opponents scrubs. The point is, I will John my *** off about this [but only here in this thread...and maybe the ROB boards HAH], I blame my loss 99% on matchup-inexperience. 1% on slight character counters..which could have been handled properly had I the matchup experience >_> Imagine that you're a CF player in Melee and you can do quite well against high level Foxes and Falcos and even Peach players...and you're a pretty solid player...then you go to a tourney and the only two matches are a high level Marth and Sheik...whom you have no idea how to fight aside from applying the basics of your character...nor do you know what to avoid/expect<-----KEY

I definitely need to play more against Brawl Foxes because they're slowly evolving to be good ROB counters [or contenders for countering anyway...I mean WTF HE CAN KILL ROB AT 80 WITH USMASH!!!]...but yo...WHO THE HELL IN SOVA PLAYS ZERO SUIT?!??! I didn't even know if the move he killed me with was nair or fair! I just saw legs moving multiple times in front of her body and cried as I got demolished at low damage...bair also kills from across the stage at 110 @_@ THIS IS ROB! wtf, again. Granted I may have been able to DI that one better, but it's still Ganon-Balls strong!

I played a Fox in friendlies, I barely lost to him because his Usmash somehow poked through my shield and killed me around 80....80!!! I lived around 130 from DK's fresh Dsmash and I get killed by Fox's Usmash at 80?!?!?

Whodat use to dabble with ZSS, he ***** the hell out of my ROB. Mario has a pretty decent edge against ZSS though...This was back when we went to CH3 playing at JCaeser's farm

Lol, it's not the same thing...A person's meta-game doesn't change, just the character. I played to many people that tried to counter pic me and lose cause of this, lol...

Never played NEO...I think I could get some wins off him though. I'm more confident in certain character matchups than others...

Lol at toasty not knowing what killed him. I know the feeling.

and O-NO has a point about playing lots of fighting games. Off the top of my head I can say it really teaches mind games. and basic stuff.
