Since classic Sonic games got the best music of the entire series, I'm crossing my fingers for revamped versions of Marble Zone, Starlight Zone, Emerald Hill, Mystic Cave, Wing Fortress, Hydrocity Act 2, Mushroom Hill, Flying Battery, Sky Sanctuary, S3K Theme, Puppet Panic & some boss music!

One of the things that did get better was the music. Perhaps its nice to hear old songs over again, but its hard or moronic to deny that the Sonic Adventure music was pretty great. City Escape, anyone? Same with Mario. I like the classic Mario Bros tunes, but right of now, I'd prefer what Mario Galaxy has.

- A remade Remix of all SONIC & KNUCKLES songs (we got a medley for OoT, why not S&K?)

I agree completely. Well, sort of. The medley part anyway. I would however, choose 1 song from each of the first 3 sonic games. My personal choices would be...

-Music from the 'Star Light Zone' from Sonic 1.
-Music from 'Mystic Cave Zone' from Sonic 2.
-The AMAZING music from 'Ice Cap Zone' from Sonic 3. I remember being a little kid when Sonic lands on that snowboard for the first time, cueing a really great musical number as you speed down a slope. Magical gaming moment right there.

And for his victory music, either the jingle when you reached the end of the level, or when you obtained an extra life.

They did. It sucked in comparison, though.

Bull****. Zebrahead took the song and **** on it with they're crappy placement of the lyrics, and crappier lead singer. Crush 40's remix does justice to a song that was desecrated by Zebrahead, even if it's not 100% accurate to the original mix.

Still, I'm not expecting either version of His World to be in SSBB. And if they wanted to use Live and Learn, a better place to put in than Green Hill is somewhere on the space colony, Ark.

And regarding Sonic Heroes, that was the last DECENT 3D Sonic game, really. It looked great, and the VA's weren't replaced by 4Kids.

I think the only ref to Sonic 06 is that Sonic's Victory song sounds similar to the Mission Clear in the game. But that's not a problem. The Sonic 06 Mission Clear is in itself a Remix of the Classic mission clear.

I said this in another thread, but it's probably best said here:

This isn't ice cap zone, but I can live with it. It's really a great track, a great addition (one of the best I've heard up to this point), and I thought the drums in particular sound great as well.

Also, this was sort of a triple update (Sonic's FS, New sonic music, Confirmed Live and Learn in game as well)

Sonic is my number one game, grew up on Sonic 1, which overshadowed my love of Mario games(here, where I live, I didn't even know sonic sequels existed, I though he started and stopped with only Sonic 1 and Sonic Chaos)

Nowadays, I play Sonic 3 and Knuckles, one of my favorite games... and this... Today's update was fantastic.
