Besides, doing this is a "small" task? If I recall six years ago, they had to have a whole team to do damage control. I bet you that we're probably the reason they decided to get mods for specific sub-forums rather than have a team keeping watch over the entire forum.

And for that, I'm proud to be a part of this community.

Oh, I think it's very clear that none of what was said holds merit. It devolved to personal insults that were really just shallow attempts at eliciting anger. It should be taken out of the public environment as it's just toxic, really.

Luck? You don't need that! That reminds me, I didn't get to play Alphicans at Apex...

I've been making strides in NYC but it's definitely rough out here. Two of our top regulars made top 16 at Apex... I've been consistently amongst the top 8 players at our weeklies though.

Yeah Alphicans got screwed by pools. But he pulled one of the biggest upsets of the tourney and eliminated the top player in NorCal, Zex.

Makes me feel really proud and confident that we can compete.

This. ALSM from Texas got top 16 I think, and he was definitively one of the weaker Texas players that went outta the bunch. He got incredibly lucky brackets.

Alphicans was a strong contender for Top 16, possibly even Top 8 if he was playing at his best. But with 800+ players at the ready, jank was bound to happen.

Coulda been prevented, but. What can you do? What's done is done.

In addition to all of that, some top seeds straight up didn't show up to their pool because of the Apex changes.

Some people got out for free.
