Yeah, if anything, Sonic's are a little more triangular/pointer like that of a cat, but it's really just to accentuate his spikes and match his overall character design. Definitely not enough out of the ordinary.

Knuckles doesn't even have ears, lol (or at least they're always covered by dreadlocks). Well, everything about Knuckles is kinda weird. I think they chose the echidna because no one knew what it was so people just wouldn't question a creature that can glide and have pointy fists if they don't know what the animal it's based off of is.

Doubt it. Seems to only work with moves that have the weird time stopping "hitlag" effect like Falcon's knee, Ganon's dair, etc.

I was theory-crafting this too when I was trying to fall asleep last night lol.

I haven't experimented with any of the confirmed lag cancels, so once I get those down I'll try it out with Robin as well. If we could do that... I might stick with her.

Hm, I suppose it's worth a shot but I think what screws us there is 1) when that hitbox is actually active and 2) Sonic having a set trajectory on it. Falco and Ganon's Dair, or Falcon's Knee, can FF into the ground at the same moment they're connecting the hitbox. Basically they're landing and hitting at about the same frame. Sonic's Dair can't be FF'd, but maybe the system can be tricked? idk I still don't fully understand it.

I know nothing about Sonic but I used him to counter a campy Zelda a few days back and he clicked with me. I think i have finally found the character who matches my desire for pure aggression and speed. Playing like that won't always win but god it feels good, those Zelda matches were so damn boring before I picked Sonic. FG in general seems more exciting to me now I can just rush campy players with Sonic.

It'll make you believe in God. By virtue of proving the existence of Satan. It's so bad. I love every minute. Also Knuckles can do the Macho Elbow. My favorite thing is death doesn't reset scenarios so you can stand still in a boss fight and die repeatedly and just move when he's vulnerable. I've died and collected the rings I spilled from dying.
