okay i was wondering about the difference between side b and down b i always use his side b but i didnt find down b to but too usefull but from what i read it does more damage if you can land all the hits?
and nice i thought you could only spin shot while running so this is nice but a couple times it seemed to work but i didnt get my double jump am i doin it too late or too early when that happens?

For a grab I think it works, but for a shield break stun...nope

Pretty much any move with knockback will kill at a high percent in Smash 4.

Ive actually gotten into the habit of around 90-100. Grabbing at the ledge and back throwing them back INTO the stage, because then i can run in and sneak an upsmash uunder them and that will usually get the kill

Man, everyone keeps talking about how HSD expands Sonic's combo ability, but I'm having some trouble getting HSD combos down. I know it has some equivalents to later percent combos on vanilla Sonic (things like spindash up air to up b to f-air) but what exactly are they and how do I pull them off? Are they more situational?

Sonic will now join my main collection along with and . Because I am REALLY SUPER aggressive with sonic and my foes barely get the chance to attack, and if they actually do attack me I use neutral B to knock them away.

Well,which characters do you think are good secondaries next to Sonic? I don't like Fox,so he's out of the question. The second main should cover his difficult matchups and needs to have a chance against Sheik,Yoshi,Luigi,Rosalina,Falcon and Fox.

He can, but he definitely loses to Sheik and possibly Yoshi? Luigi is a bit of a toss-up too.

I thought Luigi was bad and now I think it's even....maybe 55-45 him. Gotta get real good at dealing with that Nair.

At the moment I think he beats Yoshi.

I've also changed my mind on Rosalina to even even though she's a ****ing ***** ass ****.

I think our most notable losses are ZSS and Sheik.

Need more experience before I really commit to most of those though.

for dealing with luigi's nair just use utilt. The fact that our foot is intangible means we can beat out nair as he is landing on us. I usually will try to get him airborne and bait out an aerial then just either Shield grab him or utilt him to reset the situation or got for a followup like side swiping him with bair.

On FB, Manny told me that Sonic vs Sheik is 55/45 in Sonic's favor, with the 5 points in Sonic's favor being because of killpower. He didn't specify why, but that is what he told me. :/

sonic vs sheik isn't extremely bad but at best i think it's even. Sure we may have KO power over her but she has a much easier time maintaining stage control and thus maintaining momentum during a match which heavily dictates the MU. if you can maintain constant momentum vs sheik and avoid needle and fair pressure the MU is less of a pain.

Her bair did get nerfed making her even less scary at high percents but I'd still say even at best personally. I still think she wins. Especially if there's platforms.

One Hundred Percent Serious Question:
As a Sonic main why are we the one character singled out when it comes to hating a character?
and even when it comes to that they rip on Sonic himself and not Smash 4 Sonic so why exactly is everyone hating on our character?

-His recent games being one
-His playstyle being one
-The fact we are actually good now being one
-The fact we are the only guest character in any fighting game ever to return is one
-People not knowing the U and being whiny brats is one.

Yeah but I'm just introverted in general offline. I dunno man. Sometimes it feels like that's the biggest thing holding me back as far as competitive play goes. My training regiment COULD consist of playing against the good players in my region constantly, but it doesn't, because I dont talk to them.
