I bought it at 15 just to play it, even though I knew it was garbage.

Lol, I still haven't touched Silver or Shadow's stages...
Good thing since Silver's stages makes you play over 10 min per stage... ok, maybe 6 min for some, but you get my point. xD

Shadow's stages are ok, not as fun as Sonic's stages though.

I've only done a few of Silver's stages. They bored me so I haven't picked up the game since. lol
They take way too long and they're just not fun.
What is everyone getting so worked up over? Once you put them both into 3D there's hardly any difference.
Some Sonic fans have to complain about something. Even if here's nothing really worthy to complain about, I guess.

Here's another teaser, along with an interview.

Actually going through the waterfalls is one of the last things I expected in trekking GHZ. I'm pleasantly surprised.

According to the interview, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow are in this game. Whether or not they are playable is on the fence, but they do have important roles in the storyline.

First teaser of gameplay. Like most Sonic games, it definitely looks nice! With the good track record lately, I'm suspecting it to play nicely too.
I just saw this on Kotaku. Nice that half of the game will be old style while the other half is using the current gameplay.
Hopefully this game does well and gets people back into Sonic.

I must say, it's looking nice. I'm hoping that it plays well, but if last year did anything for me it restored some of my faith in SEGA.

I'm so glad that I can play as modern Sonic, I prefer his design to old Sonic.

But we're at the looking good phase.

Sega needs to pull through for us. This DOES look like it could be big, and I think it looks good so far.

I'm going to keep hopes low. It looks promising and looks like it has potential but I don't want to go nuts and be disappointed. Although lately Sonic games have been alright so maybe i can afford to put a little hope into this one.

All I ask is this game finds it's way to Project Cafe alongside Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

Hmmm... Good **** SEGA

I'm not looking forward to the act after Green Hill Zone. Out of every Sonic game (yes even Sonic 2 and the Chemical Plant Zone), this is the only game where I actually can't get past the second level (mostly because it was huge as **** and it feels like they just put every possible trap to make you rage)

Beating Sonic1 in under 40min for a trophy is lame too. Gave up on that. What makes me happy, is it looks like you slide a whole lot less in this game. I hate how in 90% of the Sonic games you slide everywhere like it's icey ground. Except AB2. I didn't have too much trouble on that one.

Yes yes yes, Marble Zone was obnoxious as ****. :( Then I grew up, sacked up, and took it out.
Thank you I thought that was just me and I somehow sucked

Man that's bull****. It took me an entire hour to get past the second ****ing act of the Marble Zone just because it's so full of bull

Forget the third act though. I can't even get past half of that and I just gave up

Hydrocity Zone in S3&K was easy. >.>

It was a water stage done right, too; it was surprisingly still very speedy. One of my favorite stages (along with the music). =D

Dude Sonic 1 was easy to beat. I just only got 90% of trophies.

I hate it, but Sonic/SSFIV/MvC3/Mortal Kombat(assuming) won't be platinum/100% D:. Stupid retro/fighting games.

Your last link made me want to cry because there's no new Nights, I hope Sega revive Nights. T_T

I can't find a Sonic song that I hate on any game, just love. There's too many Sonic songs I love. x_X

I happened to be thinking about NiGHTS when I linked that and for the last week I've really been wanting to play that >_> Sadly I don't have the Saturn or the game to play that :(

I played Journey of Dreams, that was alright.

I have a Saturn just kind of sitting in a box with only one game. It's impossible to find **** for a reasonable price for that thing.

I wanna see the Green Hill, Marble (this time redone to make it easier at least), Chemical Plant, Hydrocity, Casino Night, Starlight, Spring Yard, Aquatic Ruin, Metropolis, Emerald Hill, Mystic Cave, Angel Island, and Mushroom Hill Zones

And if games from teh Sonic Adventure games count, then bring back City Escape, Pumpkin Hill (assuming that any form of Knuckles would be playable in this game), Wild Canyon, Emerald Coast, Twinkle Park, Speed Highway, Radical Highway, Mission Street, Security Hall (assuming that any form of Rogue, which I doubt because she hasn't been in anything in forever, would be playable in this game), Metal Harbor, Green Forest, and..... yeah I think that's it

Boy do I want a lot of Adventure levels to be playable again :/

Me and sonic goes along way back in the 90's despite the fact that sonic was released a year exactly before I was born man 23 June is like the best birthday ever and believe it or not Sonic 3 for the genesis was my first game! once I played I was fond of it ,Sonic was the first character I drew perfectly. although his last games been a pile of **** but I will always believe that there will be a game that will bring him back to the roots he got cut from and I hope it's that game.

Noticeable appearances :

Old design welcome back to the game although I rather Sonic 3 design way better but this is a good to go design I do like the 3D sonic (it irritates me sometimes with the speed talk) but the old one have place in my heart.

****ing seriously. No one complained when Knuckles and Tails were in the 2D sonic games. I don't see why the hell people suddenly care now.

The problem with Sonic and bonus characters to play as isn't the fact that the bonus characters existence take away from the game as evidenced by Tails and Knuckles (or hell, even the rest of the Sonic Adventure cast). It's the bonus characters themselves that take away from the game.

Let's take Silver. His levels were boring as hell, his design kinda sucked, his powers just didn't work well with the nature of the game, and the fact that his levels were more story than gameplay bites.

Another example is Big the Cat (well I'm not speaking from experience because I haven't played his levels in SA1 yet, but I'll say what I've heard from mouth). His levels were considered boring by many and I've heard his design sucks and he wasn't fast enough so that's why I'm guessing they booted Big off the Sonic cast.

Rogue didn't suck per se, but she is more unpopular than Knuckles which is why she hasn't been in anyting in forever.

Another glaring example is Shadow. He was great. When I first saw him I thought Anti-Sonic. His design was brilliant and he fit in so well with the story in SA2. If he were introduced now the same way he was introduced in SA2, players would be fawning over that guy. The reason why everybody hates him now is because Sega made a HUGE mistake on bringing him back in Heroes. When Shadow "died" in SA2, he basically died a hero's death. He finally came to terms with humanity and he died because he sacrificed himself. When he came back in Heroes and had his own game afterwards, however, many players (I feel these sentiments now myself now, since I was too young to feel that when I was little) felt like his return as a slap in the face. He had the most epic ending ever in a Sonic game and the fact that the games that came afterwards sucked (I don't feel Heroes sucked in any way, but that's what the rest of the world thinks) and he was given even more of an emo complex anyways made players dislike him.

Then we have the rest of the new characters introduced in later games like Chip who I don't feel like going into because I'm tired of typing.

Man, wth is it with me and long posts lately. I've made 3 of these during the past 3 days :/
