The last Sonic game was Shadow with a gun. According to the reviews, it sucked. I highly doubt Sonic with a sword will change that.

And the Black Knight is who? Shadow? If Sonic gets a sword, that would technically make him a "knight", so if he were dubbed the Blue Knight, then Shadow would be the Black Knight.

Egh, stupid speculation is stupid. I'll just wait for my issue to come in within the next few days.

Oh God yes. Am I the only one who isn't going to complain? I loved Sonic Adventure 1/2, Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog (yes, I like it. So what?) and Secret Rings, so hopefully I'll like this one too. Not to mention **** that's a nice sword.

In any case, this is almost definitely Photoshopped. We just got an announcement of a Sonic game for Wii. Why would we get another Sonic game announcement now?

And no. You cannot assume ANYTHING about ANY Sonic game these days, except that it will suck. That can be assumed about every title because Sega has shown us that it can certainly happen that way. I don't understand this boundless optimism.

I loved Sonic Adventure 1/2, Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog

Adventure 2 was great, Adventure 1 and Heroes were okay, so I'll give you them. But that...that...that THING was not even OKAY. It wasn't mediocre, adequate, subpar, anything. It was awful, and that doesn't even adequately describe it.

Nah, it's okay. I'm generally very extreme on video games, but I can certainly understand that someone likes a game that I don't. I don't understand how you could like the game because I really found very few redeeming qualities in it, but if you liked it I can't say that you don't, as everyone has their own tastes. To each his own.

Shadow was actually an interesting character in SA2, he had a story behind him, he was...I felt sorry for him when he died. But they should've left it at that. I'm not saying I love Shadow, quite the opposite. But he was fine in SA2. Beyond that, he was awful.

Don't even get me started on Silver. And if you want to complain about someone, complain about the pyrokinetic cat.

But you're right. It's impossible to respect Sonic anymore. Or, Sega, at least. That's the only reason I would've wanted Miis in Brawl. So I could create Miis of stupid developers who've screwed good franchises, taken the characters from said franchise, and beaten the living crap out of them. It would've been incredibly therapeutic.

Then again, it wouldn't be worth screwing over the Smash Bros franchise completely with that. Still, it would've been REALLY NICE to be able to do that.

Sonic's sword is suspiciously like Alondite, the Black Knight's blade from Fire Emblem 9.
This game is Wii-exclusive, and Fire Emblem is made by Nintendo.

So thus, the evidence is obvious.

Sonic Emblem is the only choice.

I predict that Shadow will have the characteristics of an archer.
Tails will be a mage-like character.
Knuckles will wield an axe.
Big the Cat will appear as a knight, making his first non-sucky appearance.
Silver will appear as a light mage, but no one will use him because he still sucks.

There's a difference between trying something new and screwing it over. And honestly, with their recent success, they should try building a GOOD GAME once before they start putting new ideas into the games again.

What's wrong with Werehog? WEREHOG IS SONIC. SONIC TURNS INTO WEREHOG AT NIGHT. This is a mere theory of mine, but I'm nearly positive it's true. If Werehog is Sonic, you tell ME, what's wrong with it?

Look, I've heard great things about Sonic Rush. But I honestly don't care. I have no faith in ANYONE making a good Sonic game anymore. That died at Shadow the Hedgehog. I've been playing since Sonic 1, and I keep hoping for a good, new game, and I have yet to see this. So I'm not going to trust anyone anymore.

Fast-paced or not, (which I honestly don't think is the only thing necessary for a good Sonic game; if you do, you're sad, not us) the game looks awful. Sega can't make a good Sonic game because they have a history of not doing so.

If you're a long-time fan of the series, then I believe you're sad for having confidence in a company which has screwed Sonic over in just about every way possible. If you're not a long-time fan, I don't believe you should be talking since you clearly don't know what a GOOD Sonic game is.
