Shadow, Ryo, Bonanza Bros. <3, and Alex Kidd <3<3<3<3<3, are supposed to be the best, or where the last time I checked. While I need to keep playing it... I'm impressed so far. Good course designs, sharp controls and an interesting cast are making this pretty **** fun to play. Haven't played as him yet but apparently Shadow's supposed to be the best character.
yea they're all pretty good on WifiShadow, Ryo, Bonanza Bros. <3, and Alex Kidd <3<3<3<3<3, are supposed to be the best, or where the last time I checked.
Time Trials are failry easy on PS3. On all the ones I have played, I am in the top 100 in the world lol.I find myself playing as Shadow in Time Trials.
The sheild and the horn?Nope.
Punching Glove - Like the green shells, can bound off walls and smack other racers.
Rockets - Like the red shells, home in on other racers. They aren't as long range as you think.
Bombs - Toss them forward, they blow up after a short amount of time if they don't hit anything first.
Cones - Like bananas, make your racer spin out for a moment. This, the rockets, the bombs and the gloves also come in 3's.
Big Rocket - You fire it, it slowly travels up until you manually detonate it.
Disorienting Star - Homes in on the next racer in line, twists their screen upside down for a few seconds yet controls remain the same. Left still goes left, only now you have to do it upside down.
Rainbow - You leave it behind you, whoever hits it gets a rainbow obstructing their screen for a few seconds.
All-Star - A powerup specific to each character, has different effects for each (Sonic for example goes super and speeds through the track, can ram into people to spin them out).
I'm probably forgetting an item but I don't think so.
Good, the blue shell is so annoyingNope.

Ain't gonna happen:Right. Let's wait 4 sum DLC to play Ratchet and Clank or Nathan Drake.
no , they already said they wont on the sega forums cuz the Wii doesnt have capabilities for ,so you better get it on either PS3 or 360I hope they release that track for DLC on the Wii. If it doesn't become available I'm not getting the game since I'd wait till I got one of the other systems then.
A follow up to Sega's answer to Mario Kart will reportedly be launched this year...
Sega found moderate success when it released Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing on virtually every platform under the sun in 2010, so it comes as little surprise to hear that the publisher is preparing a sequel to the kart-racing game.
Kotaku is reporting that a Sega rep confirmed the development of a follow-up at the Toy Fair in New York. Little else was confirmed, other than it is planned for a release at the end of the year and that new characters and vehicles will be disclosed in the coming months.
A sequel was pertained to last-month in an oddly-flavoured rumour that suggested the game was in development for 3DS, Wii U and Sony's Vita handheld. No platforms were mentioned in the latest report, but the original racer hit both Wii and DS, so it's probably safe to say Nintendo fans will be well-covered in the event of a follow-up.
We're awaiting an official confirmation from Sega on the game, so stay tuned.

The online community for the first one died in like a month.
