I mean... its there... in your friend's freezer... and you just eat it. I mean, you don't know its molten, only partly food, radioactive, and filled with glass. You just see meatballs and some cheese (maybe) in a little dough pouch. Then your internal organs attempt to escape your body and you know what a terrible mistake you've made.
Basically you've got:
MK John's: ~20% of Smashboards content
tier lists for everything: 15%
random spam: 15%
non-MK John's: ~10%
indecipherable gibberish: 10%
pointless elitest debates: 5%
10chars: 5%
Useful information: maybe 20%, but its buried in the above.
Anyway, Brawl+ balance stuff:
-If I had a nickel for every time I heard someone say a character is broken in B+ I would be able to buy Smashboards.
Who do people say is broken: these are the ones I've heard, in no order.
1. Sheik
2. ZSS
3. Diddy Kong
4. MK
5. GW
6. Jigglypuff
7. Captain Falcon
8. Fox
9. Wario
10. Marth
11. Luigi
12. Kirby
Other than the fact that a lot of the cast could be easily improved in minor ways, and these characters could have minor nerfs (if they even need any), and that some of these aren't really broken, and that it isn't tested competitively, and its all fixable... don't you think that 12+ broken characters by default makes them pretty d*** balanced than any smash game has been so far.
I believe that all of these characters have hard counters or exploitable flaws. I'll try to talk about what I've seen having played the game.
Ex. Jiggs: I know a ton about B+ Jiggs mechanics at this point, I've been finding combo % ranges and have an idea of what most of her combos are.
-weaknesses: she is soooo light, and with increased hitstun, she has less ability to momentum cancel. With the buffing of a lot of characters movesets this is her biggest problem. She still suffers from limited range. In vBrawl the answer was pound... pound doesn't combo well at all. Jiggs has 0-D combos on most of the cast... but they require moves that are extremely difficult to land on an opponent who spaces well. She still really has trouble with disjointed hitboxes.
-counters: Ness is imo a hard counter. Jiggs cannot effectively deal with f-air and if he gets a grab he has a ton of options including the b-throw of death. His aerials space well and he can KO us extremely early. I'm not gonna say more out of self interest, but yeah... he's got a lot going for him here.
Luigi is even worse for Jiggs than he was in vBrawl... ugh. That's enough for now (lol Bias)
Ex 2. Sheik could be balanced better if the f-air knockback was reduced. Wow, that was easy.
