Right in a house with fire in the chimney, Subaru sees the white Ryuzu seemed attached to him. The black one asked if he knew who created the Sanctuary, he knows it was Echidna apparently, which the black Ryuzu confirms: A facility to experiment on and fulfill her dream, he asked on what she experimented... She says on the girl trapped in that crystal, the true Ryuzu Meyer, the rest are just copies of her, which awes him-

-She asks if his perception of her has changed, while he'd like to say no, he admits to not know. She giggled and called him kind. She reveals the copies are made infused with artificially produced cores made with ore infused with magic, with the mana giving them this form. Subaru then realized Echidna was trying to create life, but he wonders why, she says it was to see if she could infuse them with personalities and memories, in other words a soul. She infused the copies with everything Ryuzu Meyer had, and once they perished, she kept on with it-
