-In the letter he says she doesn't needs to worry, and slides it under the door of the house she's in... But he actually expects to die, so he wondered why he bothered. Thus he leaves riding Patrasche, and one of the Ryuzus saw him go... Well, he does know why he wrote the letter, even if the timeline is reset, he doesn't wants her to be worried. Still, he thinks that his goal is the mansion, if he has to die repeatdly to figure what's happening exactly, so be it, maybe he can even get Echidna's aid at some point, but he's determined in either case, only he can do this...-

-But then Garfiel stomps on the road, making Patrasche stop and he's like "already leaving? nice Earth Dragon by the way"-

-Subaru says there ust be a misunderstanding, Garfiel says he's sure he and his Witch's scent are up to something evil. He doesn't denies the smell, but asks why he brings it up now... He gets it then, it wasn't convenient to ask, saying it's written all over Garfiel's face. He tells him to watch his mouth and not piss him off further, before graabing him by the jacket and pushing him to a tree.
