But Filo, being a filolial, instinctively hates dragons, and jumped to kick it in the head. They have no option it seems, Naofumi rationalizes that if it remains here, th villagers would die anyway, so they must beat it, and Filo once again tried to kick it... But this time the dragon expected it, opened its mouth, and swallowed her-

-Raphtalia and Naofumi looked in horror, the latter unable to formulate words, as he remembered moments they've shared, and internlly wonders what more will this world tke from him, remembering now his misfortunes, feeling hatred... It is then that distorted messages started to appear in his stat menu-

Until he hears the words Raphtalia told him that night he fought Motoyasu, and he returned to reason, seeing she clung to his arm-

-She was weak, feeling sickly from the poisonous air and getting some burns from the shield, but she smiles glad that he's back as she collapses. Naofumi is horrified he did this, and tried to heal her with magic to little avail-
