I never was much of a fan of the Zelda series.
It's probably my least favorite of the Nintendo franchise except for Star Fox.
Kirby and Pokemon are my favorite.

Majora's Mask is my favorite out of the ones I've played and beaten (Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Link's Awakening). Even though OoT has better dungeons and quests and all that, I feel like the way that MM creates a mood/atmosphere really puts it over the top. You can really feel the hopelessness of the town, and how the trivial tasks from the Bomber's notebook won't stop the inevitable, yet it is all that can be done to make people happy in their last days. But then, you're whisked away back to three days earlier, where none of the things you just did really mattered anyway. It all contributes to a Groundhog day esque feeling of hopelessness - that you're doomed to watch the moon crash over and over again for eternity, and all you can do is try over and over to make these people happy for a few moments as they face armageddon.

Link's Awakening is also awesome of course.

haha, i've already comprehensively beaten this game

here's a hint: CPU opponents will retreat every time they're status'd regardless of retreat cost, dark venusaur is ridiculously broken for this reason

also the card 'challenge!' acts as another 4 bills because the CPU can't play rock-paper-scissors with you
