^^ Someone appreciates me. Thanks Kero.

And Malva told me I was a "good poster" on MSN today. I feel so happy.

OK it's 4 AM and I got console matches to play tomorrow. Turning in, guyz. Please don't add another 200 social thread posts for me to read while I'm gone.

Four pages since last night? Holy crap.

I read the "permission to ban" if the guy doesn't show up to APEX, but "permission" isn't a strong enough word. If they say that they request to be banned if they don't show up, then we can make something happen. :)

In other news, I found out I indeed can play SSB online with an acceptable ping at my girlfriend's. Yay!

see, the reason I support battlecow over you is...

well, ill use an example

if you see a guy enjoying himself in kicking a harmless dog, do you help the dog, or the guy

exactly

apologies to whoever was implicated in the metaphor unwillingly
Battlecow's a harmless dog?

Anyways, if you're really trying to counteract my arrogance that's kind of funny, because I mess with Battlecow primarily for the same reason :D

ANYWAYS, I just spent the day going more-or-less even with SK's ness and Peek's ness, and I'm gonna spend tomorrow getting whooped- or maybe not, who knows- by Firo's ness, so I think I'll be ready for Kero when he comes. Anyone trustworthy wanna hold the money for us if I can get him to do a paypal MM?
I easily won a majority of the games, although admittedly I lost more than I would like. It was like 2:1. And they were all on Dreamland.

Speaking of which, no offense, but how did you beat Peek? Because I'm pretty sure his Ness is better than mine >_>

'

Hahaha wow. Ask all of those players if they think I'd have a legit shot at beating them in tourney and I can almost guarantee you they'd all say yes (yes they all have a legit shot at beating me too).

Poor battlecattle it must suck always being so wrong.
Sheer's right. Although he's not likely to win, he'll still have a chance. And I'm not just saying that just to spite you, Battlecow.

You might be underestimating Sheer, because he's kind of bad vs Falcon.

the djc a down is called an anti kick down. or just an anti.
the djc a behind you is called the anti sideboot.
and the djc a up is called THE HUB.
LOL I should definitely start using these names. THE HUB

I like Kero and Diablo. They make things, er, interesting. Hopefully they don't end up being HAMMERHEART + Saske or something

Mmm... Pretty even split, really. A lot of people play multiple characters. I'd say most common overall is probably kirby, followed by Falcon, followed by fox, followed by Pika.

It's pretty evenly distributed, though, like I said.
Missed this. It wasn't specified whether you guys were talking about tourney or friendlies, but from the random games I play Kirby is like the least common character. Obviously a lot more common in tournament, but I still think Fox and Falcon are easily the most popular in both friendlies and tournament. Everybody uses one of those two - kind of silly.

I think you underestimate me in terms of my results vs other players too. You are the ONLY A tier player to go better than even vs me in friendlies (even then it's not much above even maybe 60/40). Plus Jaime really struggles vs my Yoshi (he does pwn my fox harder than you though) and I go even with Frogles too.

But no worries that's human nature. I'm sure I underestimate some people I do really well against too.

A$, you are a good person. You are.
Better than Firo
SK, I beat peek because ness sucks. I still think I should have been beating you more in the ones we played.

Also he kept CP'ing to Peach's, so eventually I got wise and won a couple of games with Pika. That MU is wrong on so many levels.

I guess I'm sleeping on sheer. Sorry sheer. You work in VERY mysterious ways.

I suppose.

Hm, maybe I should have went Yoshi vs Jaime. But I HAAAAAAATE Yoshi on higher delay.

I feel exactly the same way. I think I could have won every game if I put my mind to it.

Yeah, it really is lol

Sadly that's true, mainly vs my Fox though. If you can get my Fox frustrated you'll probably win. Jaime plays similarly which is probably why he pwns my Fox a lot, gets me really frustrated trying to approach him lol.

Yeah Jaime was hard to approach

I still mad I couldn't beat his Falcon with Kirby when I could beat everything else. WTF

Oh well, that only reinforces my opinion that Kirby is slightly overrated in that match-up

the clan situation on kaillera is sad, everyone abandoned NBK after the crew battle with LOS and no one other clans are battling

disproving determinism
It's not risky the way I use it in serious matches.

Fthrow-falcon punch. It's unescapable from certain %'s. Also Uair-Pawnch (although I've only ever done that like twice) and Dair-Pawnch (although that's unnecessarily fancy)
dair punch is not unnecessarily fancy when you stay grounded for the punch. In that case other moves usually won't kill.

Or maybe cause Falcon is super easy to win with just like Kirby

Oddly enough same thing happened to PT after PPS battle

tis a sign!
Zen Yore was being his normal COOLSTORYBRO-jerkself so he got kicked out.
BHLMRO eventually stopped playing.
Greg was a monthly player..barely.

Mafia is one of the many things I've been meaning to get into for a while. Maybe one day.

Speaking of things I've been meaning to get into, I finally downloaded a Touhou game - Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. So far I am horrible compared to the kids on Youtube. Can barely get past Stage 3 on Normal LOL

Also, when I was searching through a few EoSD play-throughs on Youtube, I found one posted by Smash 64's very own Kefit. Small world.

Play on hard/insane for a bit... going back to normal mode after doing so makes it child's play lol.

to be fair, embodiment of scarlet devil is hardly the easiest one to start with

imperishable night is a good one to start with, and has good music too

or just screw it all and play hisoutensoku

we're almost precisely halfway across the world from one another, the delay will be depressingly high or the lag will make it unplayable

then again, spamming with patch doesn't need skill, right

I am king of hisoutensoku, my suwako is unparalleled.

.

EoSD is cool to start out with, prepares you well for the other games nicely. Besides touhou is all about the challenge.
