I mean, I have no problem seeing the difference, but that could just be me, I guess. Like, Roy doesn't look anything like Marth, Ike looks nothing like Byleth, and so on.
You would really have to stretch to reach those straws if you were to say Robin looks like corrin or chrom or Ike

But if you don’t like the character then that’s gonna be your reaction. When you don’t like something your gonna be upset and wish you got something else. Do some people take it too far? Absolutely. But That’s not an unreasonable reaction. When you don’t like a certain food and you eat it you can’t just gulp it down like it’s nothing. You’re gonna gag a little.
wtf? no. I didnt like Banjo one bit but i didnt act like that

Same honestly. At least it’s a new franchise.
Monkey's Paw; the new franchise is a obscure one that only a...certain someone here likes (cough ME cough)

You thought Byleth Drama was bad? Just imagine the kinda crap that would spur if any one of my most wanteds made it in, it would be the apocalypse

My initial impressions of Byleth is that she's fine. I wish movement speed would be a bit faster though. Gotta appreciate Classic mode pretty much being Super Emblem Bros.

But man, do I hate the final battle. Seven teammates all with 50HP is already pretty much useless... and then the slow down effect kicks in all the time due to your team dropping like flies. Nice idea, terrible, headache inducing execution.

On the one hand, Lloyd brings "Fatalize" with him.

...why yes, I am more interested in the music than the fighter. Though both would be pretty cool.
And "Like a Glint of Light" and "Fighting of the Spirit"

On the other, Yuri brings "Fury Sparks" with him.

I mean we could see a :ultjoker: scenario that brings in multiple tracks from the same series.

Oh ****, this is actually looking pretty good Dutch Raikuna Dutch Raikuna

I know it's pretty uncommon here but i usually wait a few days after a release before taking a decision on if i'm going to buy a DLC character or not. I just want to make sure i'll actually play the character before buying. I watch footage and some moveset analysis videos, i come here and read people comments, i'll also play against some of the thousands of Byleths online before i make up my mind.

With that being said, regardless of what playstyle i personally like and all, i think Byleth is a great addition to the roster. Their moveset as a whole is pretty unique and even if they're slow, their combination of power and range can be really deadly (i can confirm, i've been on the receiving end of it during the last few hours). About their speed, their dash is basically a faster walk (lol) and their air mobility is pretty bad but a bunch of their attacks are actually pretty fast and seriously with the range on that spear most Byleths i've played against didn't even need to move that much. I was worried they'd have no 'out of shield' option but N-air is surprisingly quick and their grab doesn't seem too bad (and down throw can start some combos depending on the % apparently). Basically, what i want to say is they have their own style and it works so it's enough for me to be happy with their inclusion. Plus, as a long time Fire Emblem fan i'm geeking out just at the fact that they wield the whole weapon triangle + a bow so yeah bonus point for that.

Speaking of the bow, i wish i could just buy it separately and use it with Link lol but seriously, with the possibility to cancel the charge by shielding or jumping, turning around while charging... and the fully charged shot being basically a slighty weaker version of Link's Final Smash... ngl i'm a bit jealous of that bow right now...

My initial forst impression fo Byleth were not high upon playing him, but wow if he didn't grow on me quick. Still feels a bit awkward to play from time to time, but I like Byleth overall :)

More importantly, I now also play Mountain Dew Terry, so there's that

Technically for everyone but tagging Wademan94 Wademan94 specifically.

Kind of a sequel kind of a remake. The levels have been reworked and more have been added. Each game now features two zones as well as a boss from that title. A new “Post-Modern Era” has been added. The story would also be expanded. Gameplay is different in that now elemental shields and whisps are found natively in classic and modern stages respectively. The level design has been altered to require power ups to access hidden alternate paths. Apon rescuing a character in the story mode they can be selected as an alternate character in multiplayer and in single player once the main story is beaten. Chaos emeralds are awarded via plot progression, but special stages can be accessed to obtain the Super Emeralds. Each game’s special stages are recreated as best they can be (with glitches and control fixed where needed). If a game has no special stages in any of its equivalents and versions, then new ones will be created for them. Apon completion of the main campaign, a new game plus mode can be played with enhanced difficulty.

The levels, rescue characters, and rival battles are as follows.
Classic Era
  • Sonic the Hedgehog (Tails Prower)
    • Green Hill Zone
    • Spring Yard Zone
    • Egg Mobile-H (Boss)

That’s quite a lot of content, I’d be impressed if that managed to fit in all one Sonic game. Though I have to ask why Null Space?

I'm super bored right now, but the problem is I feel like I'm in a paradox

On one hand, I want to make an animation, but I physically can't because I can't draw, and that's too much work

On the other hand, I'm so tired of math I can barely stand. It feels like my mind wants to do one thing but I can't reach for the sky, so to speak
