If Verge wasn't leaking, it wouldn't have been as bad. We had two characters missing from Verge, and two characters left on the box to show. So unless there was a set of the characters on the back(not that it wasn't plausible too), you had those two left. And due to the set up, people were sure one was an Echo as is. Even without the leaks, an Echo and a newcomer was part of the theory.
I 100% agree. When there are leaks and rumors left and right, this stuff is expected.

As someone who wants to get into that field, It may not be the greatest, but it was the earliest example of some pretty dang good voice work for its time.

If its not placed properly, start at 4:32 and listen on. It is such a REAL performance that just keeps you there.
eyyyyy voice over buddies
:3 Ah, totally understandable! I hope you keep working on what you have been doing now! You will become a professional for sure!

xD Maybe you would do my Silly Roidley just fine then! His voice would be higher in pitch than Ridley's (plus sounding adorable). xD At least I wouldn't put you to scream in Ridley-X's levels of painful ear bleeding screeching.
LOL Can you PM me a voice description and image? I’d love to give it a shot!

Also, thanks! :)

joker mii costumes also included sonic costumes

which thinking about it makes snakefighter's point about virtua fighter's absence actually quite a good one
Let me rephrase.

All content came from SEGA/Atlus, which is effectively the same entity. Virtual Fighter not being in the Direct was notable, but again, that doesn’t have an impact on what Mii Fighter/Costume theory is. It comes down to what the content is, not how much we get from each company.

I’m not even entirely sold on it yet, but it’s the only one that is based on precedent and can give an actual idea of what we could get.

Also AugustusB AugustusB , “Mini-Direct” is my wording for it. Nothing official, it’s just what I refer to them as!

The last Smash Direct was a god damn rollercoaster, I remember it clear as day, even though I was already 110% sold on the game. I was fine with Grinch being fake, but box theory being real stung. Even if I wasn't a diehard Isaac supporter I still winced hearing the Golden Sun music knowing what was about to happen. To say nothing of Spirits initially being presented as glorified stickers (the World Of Light reveal definitely balanced that out though). And Piranha Plant was the most baffled I'd ever been at a Smash character, even if I warmed up to it overtime.

Seeing Spring-Man and Rex deconfirmed was also mindblowing when those were the "safe bets" for DLC once upon a time.

Still think it would have been better to have Simon/Richter as the last reveal, but c'est la vie.

My thinking afterwards was "well, the base game will still be great, but I'm not sure about this Fighters Pass." Thankfully my hesitation was for nothing as so far the DLC characters are nothing short of fantastic.
The last direct felt so surreal to me

I din't care that box theory was real or anything but I still can't believe that Sakurai spent like 10 minutes on options

So who do you think the indie rep should be if there were a 6th smash bros?
There was a problem fetching the tweet

Got a fun little game for y'all.

Which of these two do you think is the more likely? Once you guys give out your pick I'll rally up the votes and compare them.

1. #74: Lloyd Irving and #75: Resident Evil rep (Jill or Leon)

or

2. #74: Lloyd Irving and #75: Crash Bandicoot

Had no interest in the latter. Also hated the first Anabelle so didn't bother to see that.
The first Annabelle is garbage, Creation is an excellent horror movie, and Comes Home is too.

I actually had the same opinion after the first one, I decided not to see Creation, but when I found out Vera and Patrick were returning for Comes Home I went back to watch Creation first and I'm so glad I did.

I just saw your prediction list too, I don't really understand why you have Hobbs & Shaw on there, it looks really bad. It looks like they're trying to coast a mediocre (at best) movie on The Rock's charisma. And Endgame really belongs on any top ten list.

Also, Star Wars in December.

clearly this means the virtual fighter himself is joining smash

Mii Costume theory isn’t as dumb, or nearly as ridiculous as other Smash “theories”.

It’s entirely plausible, but can also be disregarded if the Hero mini-Direct reveals any Capcom or Namco Mii Fighter outfits.

For the record, Box Theory was also considered “dumb” at the time, and we all know how that turned out.
You know, Mii theory could be false but we could still get newcomers from Capcom and Namco.

Everyone's opinions differ. All I can tell you is The Fast and the Furious movies are guilty pleasures of mine and Dwayne Johnson being among my favorite actors (And his character Luke Hobbs starring in a spin-off) makes it one of my most anticipated.

As for Endgame. I'm gonna be straight up honest that I actually found it underwhelming. I expected it to be this grand scale of an epic adventure non-stop with a combination of time travel and space adventure when at most we only got that in the third act and final battle. Maybe I'm overlooking it that they were probably trying to build up to it but I still felt underwhelm and there's still a particular thing I didn't like in the film they did to a certain character...Ironically Far From Home was the Endgame I wanted hence making my top 11 so far and probably by the end of the year.

Also never been the Star Wars guys plus these sequels weren't needed since they made RotJ's ending pointless and meaningless along with the awful treatment they gave to beloved characters like Luke. Guardians are my Star Wars.

That's just me though as they would say to each their own.

xD I will think it through (plus finding some ideas of how he may sound, I got a voice in my head, but its not the same as actually hearing it!) so I can be as clear with the description as possible and I will send it to ya!

Oh he got his day.

I dunno where he was in November, but he was probably laughing it up while the salt flowed.

All we had to do was listen.

As much as they tried to pretend it wasn't, Endgame is the second half of the story that Infinity War started. If you're looking for "grand scale, epic adventure, and non stop action" then those 2 films, being the complete story they are, is exactly that.

Also, Star Wars was always meant to continue, and it did in the form of expanded universe books and games. Plus I'm pretty sure this last movie is going to show everyone that ROTJ never really was an ending, The Emperor died way too easily for someone as powerful and manipulative as he was.

I guess I'll say the first option, because it's one from Namco and one from Capcom.

Just reached Gold Tier in CTR NF's Nitro Grand Prix. I should have enough time to clear that tier before the Grand Prix ends.

For Star Wars, there were 9 main books. It was highly unlikely they would skip the last trilogy. They were all intended to get adapted. It's not about "no need for more", it's more like "it wasn't done yet". It literally wasn't finished, so they finished the adaptions. It wasn't some add-on after a good finish like Toy Story 4 was, really. Entirely different situation.. Of course, if you didn't want to see them adapt the last trilogy, that's fair. I honestly found 7 and 8 to be fairly good movies, but to each their own. It doesn't mean every part was. I found Rei to become good at her Jedi stuff a bit too fast, but I liked how she developed otherwise. There was a pretty good pace beyond that. She barely scraped by with the spaceship battle, having a crash landing even.

George Lucas did intend for there to be nine movies, but there were never any books, they were movies first.

Speaking of Endgame. I actually honestly thought The Hidden World did it better with an decade long conclusion (Infinity Era at least for the MCU).

Endgame again I really didn't feel any of that epic grand scale adventure in the first and second acts whereas I felt more happening in The Hidden World.

I legitimately remember them being books first.

Welp.

Either way, they were all intended. So it was going to happen anyway. None of them came out of nowhere. Wasn't a random "is it needed?" factor. Just a full out plan from the start. I won't really go over quality or anything like that. Every movie has its flaws, really.
