On Half Genie Hero, I've finally finished Story Mode, Pirate Queen's Quest, and Friends To The End. That's cool. Also I love how someone in the credits is credited as the "Technical Overlord."

So rumors are that Hero's Video will be unpopular in some circles. It could be that a popular SE request being turned into a mii costume, but I think Square Enix turned into Mr Krabs again with the DQ content like with Final Fantasy.

I still feel like the most likely Namco rep besides maybe llyold is a dark souls character. I don’t think heihachi stands a chance when Sakurai said he would rather ryu over him basically. Since they tried heihachi but he felt ryu played better and was he better choice

That isn't what happened. Heihachi was in competition with Pac-Man for a Namco character. It had nothing to do with Ryu.

I don't, really. Brawl was the only time Jason Adkins was halfway decent as Ike (and even then, he wasn't perfect...listen to Aether in isolation and it sounds like he's saying it with a bad French accent, "Aethieux"). He straight up sounded awful in Path of Radiance and Fates, and slightly-less-awful-but-still-bad in Radiant Dawn and Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., so he was inconsistent and generally not in a good way. And it seems unrelated to direction, too.
Honestly Greg Chun is better in basically every way. My only minor complaint is that it often blends in with his Ephraim voice.

Isn't Final Fantasy's issue probably the guy that owns the music, rather than strictly Square Enix (though, Square is still probably difficult to work with)? I assumed with four alt characters, 2 songs in the trailer, Slime, and other various additions to the Hero character that Dragon Quest would be less of an issue.
It's not to say there won't be people disappointed in the video--I definitely think it might be a popular character as a Mii costume, or confirmation that there are RNG elements involved in the menu.

Whatever it is it probably won't anger or disappoint me too much as I've had very little exposure to both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's not a lot of content considering the amount of things Square Enix doesn't 100% own.

We would need to treat Graizen as a prophet and then dedicate the social to food-posting.
Actually wouldn’t mind Agumon, not much of a Digimon fan but I think he’d bring something fun and unique to smash.

The only reason to have Nightmare in Smash is so you can mod a Guts skin over him.

Funnily enough Sakurai actually talked about this costume in an interview about PAC-man when he mentioned Heihachi.
Interviewer: If Heihachi was included, I start to imagine that one of his palette swaps would have been him in his fundoshi (laughs).
Sakurai: If we did that, we’d end getting in trouble with CERO again (laughs).
