It’s going to be Toads or Goombas. I’ve been thinking this from the start. Mark my words. Now watch, they'll put hundreds of different Yoshis into the movie ala Melee's intro, and turn them into the new, Mario-equivalent of the Minions
I’ve never understood why people get that attached to fictional dogs... like, so many people die in movies and people don’t even look up from their phones, but a dog gets it and I’ve seen people legit cry.Next movie will be Crawl which I'll see next week but that's only if the dog lives.
Who’s to say it won’t be both? It’s going to be Toads or Goombas. I’ve been thinking this from the start. Mark my words.
From a user on SpaceBattles. Pretty much sums it up.I’ve never understood why people get that attached to fictional dogs... like, so many people die in movies and people don’t even look up from their phones, but a dog gets it and I’ve seen people legit cry.
Plus the innocence is dogs and how loyal they are who wants nothing more but to cuddle with you in your lap. It makes it really hard to stomach in movies where they die.Animals and babies I suppose are seen as too clueless to know the danger their in and more "innocent". In a lot of horror the big bad or curse or whatever will often target adults who you could argue maybe brought some of the attack on themselves (trespassing, being bad people, being stupid) but an animal wouldn't know any better.
I honestly can’t respect a studio whose business practices involve making animated films as cheaply as possible. I hate their lack of artistic integrity and how much profit they’ve made off of it. I won’t judge until I see a trailer but I still wish Nintendo went with a different animation studio. I’ll give them credit If the Mario movie turns out to be good though.I liked it as a kid but after seeing it again...Yeah, it's a pretty dang messy film, putting it gently. I get the feeling even Illumination themselves aren't pleased with that one.
At least the CGI animals are actually okay to look at.
The Secret Life of Pets could've been great, imo, but it felt unfocused, had poor storytelling and was ultimately just unsatisfying. And I didn't really think the plot even lived up to the whole "what are your pets doing while you're gone" thing that the film was heavily advertised as being. And as for Sing..., it was fun, I'll admit, but rather mediocre. I'm really not sure what they were trying to do with Sing, honestly. The company does need to step up their game, but they don't deserve as much hate as I've seen them get, imo.
I have no idea what to expect from the Mario movie. I hope they manage to do something satisfactory with it, at least.
I mean, I get that a dog dying is a sad idea. I just don’t understand not watching a movie over itFrom a user on SpaceBattles. Pretty much sums it up.
Guess I'm like that girl. I'm valuably and weakly emotional when it comes to dogs given the dog lover I am. I'm also more of an animal person then a people person so there's probably also that.I mean, I get that a dog dying is a sad idea. I just don’t understand not watching a movie over it
People getting overly upset about animals in movies is actually a pet peeve of mine I think it stems back to school when a girl cried and made a big deal about a dog dying in a movie and then like a month later said Schindler’s List was boring and pointless.
Some people have bad experiences with them.I mean, I get that a dog dying is a sad idea. I just don’t understand not watching a movie over it

No koopas and goombas. They are going to take the two from rawest forests’s intro and make them famousIt’s going to be Toads or Goombas. I’ve been thinking this from the start. Mark my words.
I myself just don't have the emotional capability to sit through movies about dogs whether they turn out okay in the end or not. That's why I can't bear to watch Max, Marley & Me and A Dog's Way Home. Some people have bad experiences with them.
I lost my cat a few years ago and now I avoid any media that features cats getting hurt (which thankfully isn't much). I'm simply not strong enough for it.

My condolences to both of you. We lost our family dog of 15 years this summer.I myself just don't have the emotional capability to sit through movies about dogs whether they turn out okay in the end or not. That's why I can't bear to watch Max, Marley & Me and A Dog's Way Home.
Its also just a bad experience losing a pet you've had for so long. I still miss my previous dog Phoebe who died back 2012.
Dogs and cats. They're not parts.
They're family. Simple as that.
Nah none taken man. Everyone's different. My condolences to both of you. We lost our family dog of 15 years this summer.
I don’t mean to be insensitive, I guess I’m just more of a people person than an animal person. Actually that’s probably not true either. I’m a “small circle of friends” person

okay but why the tongue on the kneecapSince I'm currently hyped for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3..I just have to say, considering we can pretty much know for near certainty that there will be alternate costumes, I'll be very disappointed if this one isn't Spider-Gwen's/Ghost-Spider's..her version of 'Gwenom'/Venom..which is still her just with the Venom Symbiote.

That movie. I Am Legend. Old Yeller.Ever since the death of my childhood pet, seeing a dog die in a movie makes me feel sick to the stomach. It just hits me too close to home.
I saw Marley and Me at a public movie a few years after her death and I don't think I've ever cried that hard at a movie before. Heck I don't think any other movie has made me cry period.
As long as they don’t start speaking vaguely Spanish gibberish
Helps that Yoshis are genuinely likable, so long as they keep doing Yoshi things.
